This is rhe story of my life. At 65 years old, a disabled veteran and having multiple physical ailments that at times floor me and even stop me for a day - that is slow me down. I don't give up and the difference between me and them is that when they wake up full of pain and stiffness they go back to bed. Not me..... I push forward, I look for a way out and that way out of the state of hopelessness is to get moving. Do something. And they think I'm crazy, they think I'm foolish. But maybe they're just jealous. Yes that's it. They don't understand what drives me. And what drives me is to make the best of every day of the possible 12 years of life I might have left according to statistics. I embrace the pain even though I hate it and it's overwhelming at times. But I get moving. I get out of bed. I get moving and take the pain with me. And to the best of my abilities, not my disabilities- I DO WHAT IS REQUIRED! Johnny Boy

2024 Breakthrough Speaking

I have been in a negative mindspace for the majority of my life. In recent years, I spent a good amount changing the things I didn't like in my life and for that I have a better life. But my negative mindset has stayed even with all this happiness surrounding me bc of my own efforts. The best thing I have found in shifting that this past month is coming back and listening to you, Eddie. Slowly, I hear my old self again. Like you have talked about before, I hear my inner child and she is happy. As an adult, I have reached the success (in my eyes) that I have wanted. Now it's time to let my mindset shift and match everything else. Thank you for these positive talks. I see these as guidelines on how to rebuild my self confidence. I did all these hard things. I can let go and enjoy. Keep spreading the positive. Change can happen to anyone ❤️❤️

Fantastic messages. If there is only one thing I would suggest it would be to lower the music volume. The content is amazing however the music is competing with it. It makes it hard to focus. This is not an indictment on Eddie. No, Eddie’s a good man, doing good work. No, the question is, is anybody listening? Not listening to Eddie, but listening to themselves? I, I, I, … Me, Me, Me. Do you notice it in these comment threads? I know you read your own. That’s the point. Yes, I am guilty of this and have recognized it and am in the process of squashing it. You should try it sometime, it’s liberating, not trying to enthrone yourself as the center of attention. Do you ever read these threads? Nobody gives a crap about you, it’s all about them, even the ones who try to give you encouragement “Keep fighting” “God has your back”, yeah right, they like to say those things because it makes themselves feel better. It’s not for you, if you were bleeding out in the street they’d step right over you. No, it’s all for them. Anybody who says otherwise is full of it.
