I agree with you totally man, i honestly stopped interacting with the bad side of the community (99% of the NewBlood Server lmfao), and suddenly the game became a lot more fun when just chatting with close friends about it only. So i totally understand wanting to detach a little from the community it can be very draining, one of these days i'll be able to join a stream as it's happening but Europe timezone be messing me up, you're still one of the best Ultrakill streamers tho.

Thanks! I know I said I'd be done reading comments and this is probably the only one I'll respond to here, but it showed up on my Dashboard and I couldn't bring myself to just ignore it. I really appreciate the kind words, admittedly the intro bit wasn't to disparage the Ultrakill community but rather just to acknowledge that I've let negative interactions I've had sour my interactions with the *good* parts of the community, it was never more clear than how I treated chatters last stream and I felt horrible about it all week, but I'm glad people are understanding of my new approach, thanks for watching!

I honestly wanna second the whole newblood thing, i left cuz most of what i was seeing was pretty comprable to reddit in terms of its near homophobic and close minded bashing of things that arent maximum violence masculine simulators. Very happy i joined a server where i can see hakita post "Its beginning to look a lot like" as a boykisser remix, thats pretty fun

No, it’s actually not violence at all. It’s death. That quote is referencing the four horsemen of the apocalypse: conquest, war, famine, and death. The four horsemen are actually a common motif throughout this layer too

Recently played a fresh save after P-ranking layer 7 and realized just how much easier prelude is to P-rank than Violence. Also around 80% of the times I play ultrakill I discover that at some point my caps lock key has been pressed

If you think about it little maybe the prelude with a whopping 5 unique enemies is a tad easier than the 3rd last layer that has like a total of 20 or something unique enemies with a lot of them not even dying to a single railgun shot.

Ayy man dont worry about it I feel you; my Violence stream had some backseaters and I totally get it. Chat and comments can really be stressful a lot of the time and sometimes you just respond (ironically) violently at the stress building up. You're a great streamer and my personal favorite Ultrakill creator/streamer👍

I never interacted with the community so this game from beggining was my favorite game of all time, but when i saw the videos of ultrakill, the chat SPOIL everything about the mechanics of the game, not funny, and its full of kids that just say in other words that they can do better. I feel like the good part of the community are the streamers and youtubers like you, keep going bro you are awesome.

The new GUI change in settings has bugged out and randomly changes the customised keybinds to random shit that nobody wants, for example the whiplash which for me use to be Q but kept getting changed to shit I can't remember

It sounds very demoralizing to be fighting your own viewers in regards to backseating. You want to experience the game your own way and share your experience with others, so I think your frustration is understandable. Are you at fault for being harsh on people? Maybe. I think it’s best to approach any situation with compassion when it comes to boundaries between what you want out of Ultrakill and the boundaries between you and your community. Great work on making changes. Being a youtuber seems like a very hard job.

I was scared to p-rank 7-3, so i did that one last. While i was secret hunting in 7-3, I accidently p-ranked it. Guess im just that cracked? Also you did much better this time around, sometimes you just gotta shut the window to silence the annoying bird to get some peace.

Idk, even though 7-3 has the meanest enemies it's one of the easiest to P-rank due to the level being very short and fighting between the enemies basically making them ignore you unless you hit them and they also remove eachother, if you get the mark for death you'll see how insanely difficult the last room becomes without any infighting. (Spoiler if you don't want to know where the mark is) It's ontop the tunnel to the route to the left from the first tree, you can fly there via slam storage or rocket riding. (going the normal way will break the mark for death)

Yeah, pretty unrelated but for me P ranking violence made me finally P-rank P-2 after not feeling like it. (I hate the room where it's a tube and literally touching anything hits you for 50 dmg I died there like 5 times due to random knockback from killing a virtue sending me mach 3 into the ceiling)

I'm genuinely curious as to why you just randomly throw out the ricochet pistol rounds at the ground instead of even trying to line it up for multihits. Is there some reason why you don't bother or is it just a preference thing?

Iirc it's hitscan to a degree so if you aim it at the foot it usually ricochets and hits the head. Useful if you're in a tight spot and just need to get some damage off

That relies on the enemy not moving at all, and the level terrain actually being a nice flat box shape. And also, in the time that you're moving to line up with a wall, you're not dealing damage. DumpsterMan is snapping those ground shots off really fast as he spins through several forms of damage dealing. They do respectable damage for how fast they can come out
