He became known as Devil and (alongside Satan) founder and (with all his others Fallen comrades) ruler of the Hell, whereas Sera took his place as the mightiest Seraphim in Heaven, and had a daughter, Emily, Charlie's half-sister, and now she fears that she will become just like her father. In general, the plot here is like about a mother who raised her daughter alone, while her husband left her. And then Lucifer and others revealed that she has a daughter with him. And in general, yes, the image of Lucifer is made too positive, I would like him to really be like Zeus, Loki and Sun Wukong. That's how I see him, in fact, in the series. And this leads to many thoughts. It's like there is no God in this universe. But if there is St. Peter, then there is Jesus, and if there is Jesus, then there is God. I hope that we will see more of other biblical characters, such as Noah, Cain, Abel, Moses, Jonah, Judas, and others.

Thus, when she got to Hell, she hated men, alcohol and was basically disappointed in life, but then she met Charlie And like a moth, she actually became a demon butterfly, as a reference to her work during her life time on Earth, In general, she sees in Charlie the light of hope for a new life and future, you can even say that it was she who prompted and helped Charlie with the organization of the idea of their Hotel for redemption, because she herself, not even believing, but hoping, wanted to redeem herself and leave with Charlie and escape to Paradise away from everyone. In general, we can even say that, again, all this would add much more to the character, and even make him not perfect, but tragic. And so it turns out that Vivienne just threw out more interesting concept, and I just decided to please fans of the Fallen Angel theory. But they could have taken another character for the concept of a renegade angel, in the manner of Fin from Star Wars, and shown it in more detail, and not just he refused to kill and was immediately cut and thrown.

Which is kinda weird when next episode Carmilla says "it's not rocket science" because it was obvious? Kinda feels like dishing both supporters or non supporters of the theory which is just not okay. @@MarkMark-lx6gl I never actually heard that backstory. I knew Vivzie had said Vaggie was a prostitute yes, but that her death theme was suicide. It was stated not to take old lore as cannon anymore because of a lot of it would change as the series came out, which was fine. But completely changing a character like Vaggie from a sinner who felt she did bad things but didn't deserve hell to a a warrior of heaven, is just daffling. Like think of the potential of the hotel being about redemption and Vaggie and Charlie have to have a talk about Vaggie redeeming. Charlie wants people safe but Vaggie wants Charlie so that could have been cool to explore. Even the fact Vaggie was a sinner dating the PRINCESS OF HELL. Think of the class system, the gossip since Stolas sleeping with a imp was scandalous. But no. Now Vaggie is a angel just like Lucifer, albi less powerful

@@Jay-gurl I'm the one who made this backstory for her that makes empathize with the character. It's just that the character who committed suicide is already known in this universe, Mrs. Mayberry. Plus, Angel can formally be considered such a character, well, he brought himself to an overdose and died himself. It's possible that there could even be a liking between them, like Vaggie understands what he wants, that her family also hated her and she ran away and had to do the job she chose, plus maybe her pimp was cruel and rude to her, and as Angel's master is literal Mothman, and one of his close friends demoness-butterfly, this is ironic, and because of this, he overcomes his fears and confronts Val. And most importantly, it all made Vaggie the Example of this kind of Sinners who deserved a second chance and redemption. That's the concept we've lost, and it's sad.

um no he literally said he was gonna have sex with everyone there. Angel is in a contract that we later find out he doesn't really want to be in. so no he did do that to himself. it would be different if he was just forced into that room but he literally volunteered.

That seems like a rather black-and-white takeaway tbh, considering the fact that Hell has bad people (Alastor, the Vees, etc) even as it has good ones (Charlie, Angel, Lucifer, etc), while Heaven has good and bad people as well (compare Emily and Saint Peter to Adam and Lute). And specifically for the latter, Emily can be seen as a depiction of actual good religious people, whereas Adam is a depiction of the corrupt ones (thinking that because they're on the side of good, everything they do is good... even if that's not how it works), while Sera is shown to be reluctant about the exterminations and is only doing so because she believes it provides for Heaven's safety - whether correctly or otherwise - making her more nuanced than "she's just corrupt". ^So rather than "Hell is good, Heaven is bad", it's gray-and-gray morality on both sides. And imho, Heaven not knowing how people ascend/if they even can is interesting because virtually EVERY story has Heaven dictate the celestial rules/who gets sent to which afterlife, whereas here they're not in charge of that AFAIK - Divine Judgment just "happens", and they can only guess how and why it decides, including us out-of-universe for why it sometimes sends terrible people to heaven and good people to hell in addition to the opposite. Heaven is also subject to these rules that no one knows about, and they fear discovering/questioning things would cause the system to break entirely, which would be a problem since they wouldn't know how to recreate it/make another to take its place (or so I presume). All the above was generally my impression from this episode, before I saw the last two. And the latter didn't really change that tbh

She did not tell, and it did not come out of the bag in any way, for 3 years! That is ridicolous! @@MarkMark-lx6gl well I have been thinking about the whole of both of the shows and realized, that sinners can literally and figuratively go to hell! There are the mortal, one-life hellborn demons. Who cares about them??? Literally nobody! Not even Charlie does. She considers sinners to be her "people" even tho they are just people from Earth, dumped there by Heaven. Imps and the others are Natives... Yet utterly opressed, lowlier in status their sinners, do the dirty work for them, while THEY never even get "the chance to behave better" , no entrance into an eternal life even, not just eternal happyness! How is this all fair? Why the hell Charlie does not care abou all THIS injustice???

Not just that literally nobody cares about them, not even Charlie who considers sinners, those dumped there by Heaven "her people" rather than them who were born there in Hell. They are utterly opressed, below sinners, do the lowly jobs and dirty work for sinners, while never have "the chance to behave better". Nobody grants them any means for immortality or a better life. Why does not Charlie care about THIS injustice?
