I think what's disappointing is Apple is one of the companies at least trying to help users, while we have to look at the majority of other companies that don't even care. Its a good thing to observe, and be aware of.

Edwin Fredy True, it’s because they’re only focused on profit, and don’t care who they use or take from to get it. Apple just happened to consider this and allow users t choose where their private is discarded.

My opinion is that Mr.Apple CEO always cares about the customer's privacy. I asked for the Political policies to let the Business run for the point of the great results for the Customers. He’s the best career of honestly to the customers. He always supported everyday life, especially for health care and about graduating for the new generations. More over, Apple is the company of environmental saving.😄

@Marco_m I want notifications, but I don't want apps to spam them. This could be managed better, i.e a single ding/buzz for each group of notifications from the same app within 10 seconds or something.

1. If you look at the state of public education or any other public service, for that matter, it has never been good. The reasons vary and are numerous including, corruption, lack of incentives, shortages, losses, disconnect etc. and they are intertwined. If you’ve studied economics (and not shitonomics like most colleges do), you would know that this is one of the shortcomings of socialism and cannot be resolved. You can keep trying, keep burning your cash and you’ll see no improvements. In fact, they suck so much that you’re much better off picking up skills at a job (the prerequisites would include no minimum wage, which denies people a chance to choose for themselves, and a few other things). I can talk at length about this, but to keep it short, there should be as less government spending, as possible. 2. I still do believe that regulations should not be in place when it comes to privacy. The free market would state that if there is discontent amongst people, a competitor would come up with something that allows for more privacy. But the thing is, people aren’t informed well when it comes to dangers of privacy breach, so they’re not demanding for it. On top of that, you have governments making as many excuses as possible to invade your privacy including terrorism security and they’re doing it in a populist manner, which is bad. People should instead be demanding liberty. Most importantly, this is a new phenomenon (unlike poverty, which is anyways a result of government intervention and need not be associated with legislation). Hence, I’d suggest that ‘the right to remain private’ be added as a fundamental right, meaning that if a person wants to go fully private, they should be allowed to do so. This would also mean that they can sue the companies who don’t honour it. Sure, this might hurt a few businesses, but I feel like this can be compared to abolition of slavery. Your digital self should also have rights. 3. As far as protecting the environment/climate change goes, it needs to be supported by enough quality research to be taken up. The default in science is always that it isn’t happening, unless you can prove it in a scientific way. In the absence of rigorous scientific proofs, it isn’t happening. Most importantly, recycling also consumes energy, so might be worth noting if you’re actually consuming more energy in the process. 4. As far as entertainment goes, there’s absolutely no harm in using your screen for that, as much as you want. Although, I do agree that you should be knowing what you’re doing and how much.

What happened to Apple's R&D department? This year the person who in charge of A-series chip had left. Each year prices of all Apple hardware product is rising. So far I'm using 2016 MacBook pro. However, I considering switching back to PC, because it's much affordable and it is much powerful than MacBook pro.
