I was 15 in 1995. I'm sure whatever era I would of grown up in would have been magical and awesome but man the 90's were just something special. It was the peak of our times. After WW2 the USA became a super power and the 90's was the Pinnacle of those era's. The friends I had,the video games, movies and especially the music. After 9/11 everything changed and it was a world of fear it seemed like. Every person should look kindly at their youth years and teenage years and I love reminiscing about those times. I'm 41 now and am blessed to have experienced those days.

Just a theory, but maybe it took longer to put the '95 video out because they went back to edit in some retro commercials. If I recall, the previous '90s videos didn't have any commercials in it. I do remember reading someone's comment pointing out the lack of retro commercials and noted that the '80s Timeline videos had them.

I wasn't even a teenager in 1995, but I remember a lot of this. What I'll always remember is hearing about the Oklahoma City Bombing. I was on a family road trip at the time; we were staying in a motel in Sedona, Arizona. The images of the aftermath and how the news reports focused on the children have always stuck with me. That was the first time I comprehended terrorism as a concept. I wish I could go back to that innocence... I remember when we upgraded to Windows 95; the thing that impressed me most was how Solitaire had new designs for the cards. I didn't spend much time online, but my sister was really into chat rooms. The OJ trial was so huge, we listened in on the verdict at school. I watched Batman Forever on its opening night; there weren't enough seats for some reason, so I had to sit on the stairs. I also watched GoldenEye in a theater in Eugene, Oregon the day after Thanksgiving. It was my first Bond movie. It's so long ago, it feels like some other life...

I know what you mean! It does feel like another life. I remember the okc bombing like yesterday. I was in school at the time and I remember them bringing the TV in the class and having us watch it all day. On the anniversary every year we had a moment of silence before the pledge and all that. Much simpler times. And I don't know how many motel rooms in Arizona I stayed in as a kid on vacation with my grandparents. We didn't have a computer until 98 though lol. We bought it from like rent a center or something and ended up paying like $4,000 for it lol. It did basically nothing haha. The good old days!

1995... what an year... i was 15, turning 16 on that year. Amazing year. It was the year of Toy Story, Apollo 13 and Seven, all of which i saw with my mom on cinema. Also Waterworld, Jumanji and Goldeneye. In the music world, the year of Iron Maiden's "X-Factor" and Van Halen "Balance" (love that album). Also the year of amazing PC Games. The incredible The Dig, Bioforge, Full Throttle, Warcraft 2, Dark Forces and Phantasmagoria. Also, was the year that i went to Japan, China and Thailand on my vacations. One of the best trips of my life.
