There's nothing wrong with that. Not every woman wants to be that kind of woman. Some like to live life, take care of animals, take care of dogs, go skiing, etc. There is a wardrobe for each of those activities but I doubt you'd want to do it in a ballgown.

I think there are fixed ideas as to what constitutes elegance, though and if I'm honest, there are some who might be considered less so than Fergie. If she walks in z slightly 'off beat' way, it might be due to her athleticism. And for me, that's cool. I like people who are different. She s not perfect, and even if she is a royal, she's still human and subject to foibles, which she didn't hide. Fair play to her, I think.

When people discuss Diana's "faults," they forget how young she was. She was NINETEEN when she married! Her height, hairstyle and clothes made her look more mature, but she was still so young. How many 19-year-old brides out there does anyone know who could perfect the social graces? Most of the ones I've known were still drinking beer and smoking pot w/their friends every weekend. But young Diana was thrust in a MUCH older, more mature social circle and expected to have the maturity of a 40-year-old.
