Ramayana is to be understood from the time of sree Rama, but not in the present technical time.. and many criticises with out reading it. First read the historic Ramayana and then talk about it. My pranams to sri sreedhar jee for wonderful explanation.

If old Characters like Sri Ram, Muhammad etc were living in modern India, they would have been jailed for Pocso or Violence against women. Bible, Geetha and Quraan and other primitive books have failed to address the issues of modern world. Now such books must be kept in Musium.

Actual document that needs to go back to the museum is the Indian constitution drafted by B R Ambedkar which has failed miserably with its reservations system. Ramayana, Mahabharat and Bhagavat Gita is revered and read by millions on the other hand only lawyers and politicians read the man made constitution which needs a major overhaul.
