I’m 73 haven’t forgotten the song remember it in the eighth grade strong voice great singer. Many hits.

What a Sweet Lady she was ...so humble and appreciative of the fans who loved her..who will always remember the joy she brought them through that beautiful contralto voice !!!

Timi Yuro with out a doubt had one of the greatest singing voice's of all time. The power and emotion she put into her songs is just remarkable.I've been listening to her sing for over 50 years and I thank those who put her video's on KZfaq. When ever Timi sang in Vegas Elvis would fly in to see her shows. So sadly ironic that throat cancer is what killed her. So sad we lost her at such a young age.

I first heard Timi's wonderful voice over 50 years ago while living in Japan and I have admired her ever since. That rare contralto voice has such power and range. Her songs were sung with true emotion. Absolutely fabulous. This kind of singer doesn't come along very often. I'm thankful for Timi entertaining me all these years. The world lost a real jewel with her early passing. RIP my dear Timi.

I'm So Hurt! That Timi Yuro had to leave this earth so soon! Amazing voice. I moved to Las Vegas in 1998, found out that Timi lived here, but was unable to sing. She had cancer of the throat, and... had her voice box removed in 2002 to try to stop the cancer! Sadly, she died in 2004 and I never got to meet her nor hear her sing in person. RIP, Rosemary (Timi) Yuro!

I cant believe I've forgotten about her. Her voice, WOW. She was one of my favorite favorite singer growing up. I hope the R&RHOF induct her where she belongs.

She opened many times for Frank Sinatra. Elvis flew in to see her live shows. She sang duets with Willie Nelson & Johnny Ray. The record companies didn't know what to do with her but many famous people did. She was astonishing. Just look at her microphone technique. Many singers have no clue how to hold the mike to let it work for you & when to pull it away. Timi Yuro is up there with Aretha, Dusty Springfield, Barbra Streisand, and so many others. But Timi -- she has a special powerful place. Her expressive voice doesn't go into the diva showboat realm. Her sincerity is everything and like Elvis at the end of her life -- her voice never failed her.
