De lujo es poder contar con la ayuda de este tutorial, nunca habia tocado este modelo concreto. El anno pasado le hice distri al 147 de mi hermano y se parece. Si te fijas en la rayita blanca que tiene la correa nueva(se ve en el minuto 11.:30) ....si al montar la correa la pones en la marca de la polea del arbol de levas coincidirá exactamente con otra raya que lleva pintada la correa que quedará justo en la otra muesca que tiene la polea del cigueñal. No influye en nada , simplemente es una referencia mas.

javier zapatero Hola, gracias por tu cumplido! No te preocupes, cuando te lies a hacerlo y siguas los pasos que describo te quedara claro. Como explico la tensión se hace en dos pasos, primero con la aguja en su posicion mas alta (2 o 3 vueltas del motor a mano, control de la posición de las marcas) segundo aflojar el tensor para rebajar la aguja hasta el nivel del agujero del rodillo tensor. Muestro esas posiciones en el rodillo viejo en el video.

I want to know more about what you were saying about the camshaft, is there two locking points but only 1 is necessary? I ruined the timing on my Saab 1.9 TID Z19DTH, I turned from the camshaft nut with the tensioner loosened without realising the concequences. I have reset the timing using the special tools, but the clicks I heard when it was out of time (turning by hand, not running) make me worried. Jarrah Clarke - Hi there Jarrah, I never took the time to translate my videos to English, sorry... Yes they are two pins, one per camshafts but as the exhaust one is linked to the intake one by a chain and the intake is the only one with the pulley I've only locked the intake camshaft. To introduce the one on the exhaust you have to take away a lot of parts (injection ramp etc..). Don't worry if you haven't tried to ignite the engine just lock everything back again with the tools and but the belt and tensioner set into position again. Always try to make 2 or 3 turns of the engine by hand to be sure everything is rolling properly. Good luck my friend.

Thanks, put everything back and went to start... dead battery! Will try tomorrow morning, but made much easier by guys like you, learn't the whole process off the internet and torque values from the handbook. My only concern is I accidentally did something with the chain link (somehow, maybe imposible if I never took the cover off). But it turns by hand fine, so the worstthat could happenis that it doesn't start and I pay someone else to have a look. thanks again

Jarrah Clarke - never try to start if you are not sure. Remove timing belt and proceed to synchronize again camshafts and crankshaft with proper timing tools. Once the pin is introduced intoo the timing hole of the camshaft, and the camshaft is in the proper position, you should hear the spring of the pin jumping into the camshaft timing hole! At this point it should be impossible for you turn the camshaft pulley. Put timing belt back and tension it. Make always 2 or 3turns by hand of the engine to make sure everything is smooth

@@Orelionsworkshop It worked perfectly, saved myself a lot of money doing it myself. The whole process was much easier that I initially imagined. Although, it hasn't run for a while, due to a different problem, I think related to the EGR and throttle valve

Gracias por el vídeo. La única pega que puedo comentar es la explicación del tensor. Nunca hay que mover la aguja del rodillo a mano, está duro, pero la aguja se mueve sola por mediación de la palanca.

Cuando.se deve canviar esa correa ? 80.000 O bien 90.000?? Tengo ese motor

Tienes toda la información necesaria en tu libro de mantenimiento. No obsante, si hablas en Millas, 80.000 esta bien. Si hablas en km, mas bien 130.000 o 4/5 años.
