I always like how blunt tim is with the cars. Like when it was running bad yeah car ran like shit sounded like a john Deere tractor but then was helpful enough to fix the car properly and everything

On SOME of the promods, etc. where I have been part of the shakedown process, loose fasteners are a big issue, especially when the ET is slow and everything is vibrating for an extra couple seconds per pass while trying to figure it out - especially when everybody is worried about the converter/clutch, timers, etc, they forget about basic things like header bolts, body fasteners, etc. and other shit that the other people voluntarily helping completely look over. 🤦‍♂️ - made me glad I was helping and catching those things in those instances.

Just saw this car running yesterday in Phoenix. I was watching on NHRA All Access. I thought, "wow thats a beautiful car" then I realized it was this one! Ran in the 6's and straight as an arrow. Thumbs up!

Excellent, excellent series!! Isn't it rewarding to see the fruits of your labour all come together at the end? My appreciation to everyone involved at TMRC as well as the staff at Jeff Hoskins, along with the production crew and everyone else involved in building this magnificent race car, as well as making this wonderful series of videos. I absolutely enjoyed every one of the 25 episodes. Great work!!

Still trying to figure out why he stopped to do the burnout. Roll thru the water and hit the sob.
@bryannichols7742
@bryannichols7742 4 жыл бұрын
Stopped to apply the line lock to help that 632 get it up on the tires doing the burnout. A screw blown hemi can do that without stopping but most nitrous cars use the line lock to start the burnout and get it up on the tire.

@@Timmcamis Interesting but now you have stock chassis FWD Honda hatch backs with H pattern tranny's pulling 7.5's at 215. AWD with an air shifted sequential and you got a race. Bench racing is rather stupid but I think the AWD E cars are the future. But then again why not make full size slot cars with no driver and just a hand controller?
@billjenkins1416
@billjenkins1416 3 жыл бұрын
@@Tsalinger I know this is a two year old comment, but what would be the point of a remote controlled car? The best part of racing is the feeling of the acceleration and speed (and of course beating the competition)
