@@heavysaber9431 I had the same problem cuz my dad is really into like manly stuff and religion. I'm 23 right now and growing it out again already in 5 months almost and while I do get shit from my family for it I just like to remind them that I'm not really a kid and that I don't care. And when they bring up oh you still live under my roof argument I usually just say that I can go away right now if they want me to and they tend to back down then.

I've watched the original Dune movie from the 80's and I love it. The result of the haircut was excelent! I'm 3/4 of the way to the length I need to get that haircut. Thank you very much for posting this instructional video. I'm definitely going to show it to my hairstylist.

Kyle McLachlan & Thimotte have pretty similar looks in portraying Paul Atreides and they both have gorgeous hair! I've read Dune a some of the sequels, many times. Really looking forward to this new version, which I think will be amazing and more true to the book.

I’ve grown my hair out for 6 months now without ever getting a haircut and looks like this naturally, I kinda want to keep growing it out so see how long I can get it. Only problem is because I’ve been buzz cut for almost my whole life I feel awkward with it, like I feel like it’s not very manly, especially with my baby face, and when I go to the gym I get a ton of looks from guys and girls and gives me anxiety. To the point I have to wear a beanie, a hoodie and dress to fit in, just so I don’t get much looks from strangers.. anyone else have this problem?? Maybe I just need to grow a pair and be proud of my hair and body..

How often should I be shampooing my hair a week, every other 3 days like shampoo Tuesday then not shampoo till friday? I also have fine hair and want to grow it out. And do I need to use a conditioner or replace that with one of ur products and how many times should I be using that product

I have thick wavy hair so it’s hard to find a good hair style. I style my hair with leave on conditioner and uh depends on the day. But yeah just screenshot pics of this video. That’s what I do

I got a really similar cut because I have a very similar head shape to him. I didn’t use this as a guide and I used reference pictures instead but it was more or less the same. I go to a salon rather than a barber and she nailed it the first time but I’m gonna have to go back soon to keep it maintained. Right out the bat it didn’t look the exact same but after some styling it looked really good. Also another important thing is that I had really long hair with really curly ends before going in. Next time I think I’m gonna get it a bit layered better so it doesn’t look as round on me but otherwise it looked pretty good, but takes a bit of maintenance

Don’t forget you need a certain face shape to go with the hair. Hair type is important too.

I've been growing my hair out to do this type of style but the hair that's coming out of my scalp around my forehead hairline is way dryer and frizzier than the rest. I have pretty nice wavy/slightly curly hair everywhere except there it stays dry. Any tips?

I've only recently grown out my hair (about 2021). For the last 3 years, I've gotten it cut only a handful of times but each time I go, they give me a "where's your manager haircut." or it looks like someone used a lawn mower. What can I do to find a good salon that won't do me dirty, and best communicate how I want my hair cut to achieve this kind of look? I always emphasize layers, layers, and texture, but they do poorly every time. This is the style I typically like to achieve, but each time I go it gets butchered. I've tried multiple locations and branches of hair salons with no luck, my wife laughs at my hair when I walk in after having it done. Thanks!
