Complimenti vivissimi a Fazio che in 20min di intervista non solo non è riuscito a fare una domanda pertinente su Bones & All o sul rapporto regista/attore tra Guadagnino e Chalamet, ma è addirittura riuscito a spoilerare una delle scene più importanti del film. E poi magari prepararsi anziché leggere in faccia agli ospiti sarebbe opportuno, denoterebbe rispetto di chi si intervista. Veramente il nulla nullificato.

Gianluca d'accordo con te in maniera assoluta. Fazio è uno dei più sopravvalutati della nostra storia della TV italiana. Furbo, molto furbo. Ha spoilerato gli unici due colpi di scena del film e che tra l'altro sono due momenti cruciali della narrazione.

Formano la coppia tipica di Hollywood , il " vecchio regista gay " che assolda il giovane gay come attore in suo film. Poi, bada bene, sono affari loro. Tim: I still understand it but not so much Tv host: cause you had to learn it for Call me by your name Tim: yeah, I took Italian lessons in Crema (italian city) Tv host: you were a Crema boy, indeed Tim: yes and when I'm in Italy I feel at home. This country has contributed to my career and I will be always grateful to Italy Tv host: you're experiencing a great moment in your life as your happy look on your face shows. Are you realizing it? Tim: absolutely, I'm thankful, also because I've just played in another Guadagnino's movie which is about first love TvH: in how many films do you take part in? Tim: 25 but I had smaller parts in some of them. But I'm grateful cause there will be the sequel of Dune, and next year Willy Wonka. TvH: Call by your name was a huge success, it won many awards. Did you go with your mom at the Oscars? Tim: yes I did, here she is (photo on the screen) *Playing a Timothee tribute on screen*. TvH: At 20ys old Luca Guadagnino went to Rome and in front of Vaticano said: I won't be the pope but maybe, one day, I will be at Hollywood. Inspiring, isn't it? I like Tim, I think he is aware about what he's living and he doesn't like to be considered a star. He says instead "I'm an actor". Is it true that you don't want to play a superhero role? Tim: I have friends who play superheroes and I like it, expecially Dark Knight but right now, my focus is on other roles, such as people who deal with life and own shortcomings. TvH: but Guadagnino would like to direct a superhero movie Guadagnino: only if I had total control on it...but it won't probably ever happen *Introducing the new movie, Bones and All, releasing on 23th of November, as a romance/road movie even if the main theme is cannibalism* Guadagnino: protagonists don't have the choice to be anything but what they are, so they are extremely lonely, they just have each other TvH: they need love, they are "hungry for love" indeed . It's not simple play such a role, isn't it Timothee? Tim: it was strange but I feel safe with Guadagnino directing. It is a romance movie in first place, indeed, so the horror/cannibal part isn't so evident. TvH: is a kind of more physical recitation? With mouth, and hands.. Tim: Yes, it's more visceral, representative of outsiders life. *Showing a part of the movie on screen* TvH: this scene shows guilt Guadagnino: yes, they feel guilty, they are young people who wish to be something different from what they are and overcome this aspect of themselves TvH: at some point they find a cannibal community, recognizing them from smell Tim: yes and among them there's Stulhbarg, who played Elio's father in Call me by your name TvH: in this movie, loneliness is a main theme Tim: yes and it reflects the covid period that has had a great impact on young people, but also climate changing. Nowadays teenagers feel isolated. This movie is a metaphor for all that. *Showing a part of the movie on screen* TvH: their meeting is the last chance for them, isn't it? Love is salvific but it can devour us Tim: absolutely and this is one of my favourite parts of the movie, because shows the craziness of the falling in love. You could be saved or destroyed by it. TvH: even though they commit atrocious murders, they're still innocent in way Guadagnino: I hope viewers will feel like they can't judge them, if anything, they will have compassion TvH: Did you know Guadagnino is a great cook? Tim: yes I did and I'm only this skinny because I haven't had Luca cook for me. Guadagnino: you should have. TvH: what are you up to nowadays? Tim: I'm shooting Dune

Pensa che ieri sera ho visto il film in vo e stanotte ovviamente non dormivo pensando alle varie sequenze, anche perché mi ha commosso profondamente. Comunque nel cuore della notte ho provato un disgusto profondo pensando di mangiare pesce (io di solito mangio carne una volta alla settimana, e pesce un po'meno, anche se adoro il pesce. Per farmi capire, i miei figli a scuola hanno sempre avuto menù vegetariano per mia scelta, svezzamento vegetariano, ma carne/pesce una volta ogni tanto, soprattutto per il papà). Dopo aver visto il film ho sentito che mangiare un animale sia un po'come essere cannibali. Chissà cosa mi ha dato questo impulso!?

Ho visto ieri questo film e sono rimasto scioccato, ma non capivo se il motivo era la brutalità delle scene oppure l'innocenza disarmante della protagonista Taylor Russell. A me è piaciuto molto sopratutto perché sono rimasto in un ecquilibrio perfetto tra disgusto e tenerezza.

Film molto potente e controverso, non è per tutti. Cosa non capisco è perché a pubblicizzarlo si ve quasi solamente Timothée Chalamet quando la vera protagonista è Taylor Russell e ha dimostrato un talento nettamente maggiore rispetto il primo.
