[Original air date: January 11, 2019] Timothée Chalamet told a hilarious story to Ellen about a prank he once played on his mom that left her naked and locked outside on a cruise ship balcony. Plus, the "Beautiful Boy" star admitted that going to Hollywood events like the Golden Globes and Oscars continues to be surreal and nerve-wracking, despite his success. He also admitted to Ellen he somehow managed to hide his admiration for Steve Carell from his co-star and onscreen dad, Steve Carell, while filming their movie “Beautiful Boy.” Plus, Ellen showed the audience a clip of young Timothée in his first-ever acting job on “Law & Order.”

Very similar energy indeed and mannerisms in my opinion. I think he has become more comfortable in interviews since this interview was recorded in 2019. Or maybe he's just really comfortable around Zendaya specifically because he doesn't seem nearly as awkward or shy in any of his interviews in recent months when he's been with Zendaya.

To each is own, but Nicholas cage is nowhere near Timothee at all...in acting, or looks, or personality, I don't see it at all. I'm not really a Nicolas Cage fan, too, so there is that...... Timothee is far, far, superior in EVERY WAY!
