One of the best actors of this or any generation. He is just brilliant in everything he does. So versatile - comedy, drama, horror..he can do it all. Well done Mr Spall....

At this stage, it should be a Lifetime Achievement Award! Timothy Spall is an extraordinary talent, never there to steal the limelight even as the Lead nor in this speech. Incredible range and ability to live the role, not act it up. Auf Wiedersehen, Pet was 40 years ago and Mr Turner, ten. Imagine!

What an amazing actor Timothy is truly outstanding, And well overdue a BAFTA, so well done, well deserved and such a fantastic speech, yes, we do all know he will always be Barry 🤣 However, I think his greatest performance was in Turner, brilliant movie 🎥 once again well done 👏👏👏👏

In every part I have seen him play I never thought of him as an actor. He was that person. Spellbinding and I genuinely think he does not fully realise how good he is.

No matter what Mr Spall does he gives the part, absolute reality and sencerity, a fine under appreciated British actor, who adds his talent to everything he touches, you only have to watch this clip to understand how much his peers respect him

I think it is respectful not to presume what others have experienced. Acting should reflect the experience and the truth. I hope those that are privileged to take centre stage act in the best interests of others. Congratulations.
