So the thing about Time Dilation between Earth and Space is basically that Einstein's theory of Relativity says that gravity has an effect on space time and the further away you are from gravity, the slower time moves The international space station did a measurement of time dilation and saw that an astronaut aboard the ISS for Six months would be roughly .005 seconds behind Earth time, so you would have to be in space for roughly a century before being just one entire second behind Earth time

I don't know if you will see this, I don't expect you to but the way that time outside of earth works is that the faster that you move away or just move from something time slows down around you when reaching really incredibly high speeds . When in interstellar the reason why going around a the black hole sends him around 100 years into the future is because he is so many light years away from earth like when if you look at Mars for example you looking at it 20 ago because that's how long light takes to get to earth and to your eyes in light speed and in interstellar when going thru the wormhole they move from one side of the galaxy to the other so for them it may have felt like a couple weeks or months since they left but because of the distance travelled at impossible speed it's been years since they have been to earth, idk if this helped you understand but its kinds confused me and also this is coming from a 14 year old science nerd so I could be right or wrong I'm not sure but that is my understanding
