I was unsure about doing this video at first since my channel isn't really about food, but since I am now starting my life here in the Philippines it seemed right to try some street food (since it is such a big part of Filipino culture) 😌
I hope that it was somewhat enjoyable to watch and come along with us to Quiapo Market. Somewhat a given disclaimer: This video isn't meant to offend anyone and I sincerely hope that I didn't, if I did something wrong please let me know 😊 I try to be positive and spread good vibes 🥰

This is the Tim we like to see. Although you're a vegetarian you are willing to try Filipino foods which are mainly pork based. Subscribers would always love to follow vloggers who love to explore the country and it's culture. I'm glad you have friends to accompany you with your immersion. Go Tim explore the reason why Philippines is the well loved country where foreigners like you choose to stay and live. I hope you can also be invited for a ribbon cutting on the soft opening of a coffee shop business I am about to put up soon. I hope your talent fee is affordable. I love Quiapo, it is never boring ,very local vibe, got its own soul very real and unpretentious people, and street food galore.

Unpretentious, until vloggers flock the area and stuff like Magic Water is created and sold to vloggers. But yes, Quiapo is interesting. Still not a place for tourist to eat street food. I brought lots of travelers to Quiapo when i was staying in Manila. Wow, your statement made me miss it. Now, im so confused about returning to Siargao or just go North to Luzon, so i can have an excuse to see Manila. I never took videos of Manila. Too scared to put out my iphone on those crowded streets. But this time, id be more comfortable.

3:26 i think that’s chili garlic oil with added thickener, maybe cornstarch or flour? Usually, chili garlic oil is just… well, oily. So that also looks weird to me 😬

The chicharon you had there is not really Intestine, it is beef ligaments or in tagalog litid, the intestine chitcharon is way crispy soft and way tastier than the one you ate, we call them chitcharon isaw and chitcharon bulaklak! And the one you called rice sausage which is Suman, there are two kind of them, the sweet one and the unsweetened. If you are used to Westerner's desserts, you'll probably won't like streetfood desserts in the Philippines first time trying it, but once you'll get used to eating them, I tell you, you'll start to salivate and look for them, because nowhere in the world that is being cooked and sold like that! Only in the Philippines. 😉😉👌
