My goodness gracious me, no offence to all the late artists we've lost, may all be in the clouds of heavens, but I'm affected by Tina's passing than others. Perhaps because she's one of those you'd expect to live forever-ish. Thanks for your passion and spirit, Ms Turner. You will forever be in our hearts.

I watched a video that broke down why her voice. Simply put she damaged her vocal cords growing up from always yelling in the country, then when she was with Ike had her screaming on tracks, not to mention screaming and fighting with him. That’s why her voice was so clear and light during her solo career

Every concert, she gave it her all! Night after night during her early 40's in 1980s. Stadium after stadium, every night a different city or college campus, you felt as if it was her first show of the tour. I remember saving and saving, even putting off my dissertation just to be able to go to this concert. It was my first time in The Netherlands. I was in the 3rd row with my bf at the time. "We Don't Need Another Hero" has always been my favorite Tina Turner song. I cried the entire time she sang...not because I was sad, but because the song has a special place in my heart. I grew up in a very abusive home, and Tina Turner's music comforted me, (this song in particular) always affects me. Rest now, Queen...rest. You brought so much love, joy, and hope to many of us who felt we had none.
