Music is so beautifully universal. When I first heard this song I didn’t understand a word of it but that driving rhythm and the passionate vocals still moved me. I’ve since looked up the lyrics in English and it’s no wonder this song had such an impact. What an incredibly talented bunch of dudes and what an incredible message.

dude its not algerian like all their songs talks about their homeland their country twarq of Mali and their struggels just cause they lived in algeria dosen't make it algerian song.. PS with all my respect to algerian brothers and with no hate ofc but i'm just talking facts here AZUL :)

Their country isn’t Algeria neither Mali. Their country is Azawad that is dismembered by the colonial France between Algeria, Mali, Niger, and Libya. Respect to the free Touareg people!

They are Berber_ amazighs of Mali (Azawad exactly) and their name ''tinariwin'' means deserts or saharas in Tamazight ❤❤❤❤

According to Wiki the guys are from Mali but the group was formed in Algerian exile. They are Tuareg, I guess they don't want to 'belong' to either of the states.
