Better charge with 1 Amp wall USB charger. Never use use 2 Amp chargers. Do not connect to Blue USB ports on your laptop or computer - these have 2 Amp current. Never charge more than 1 hour. These units do not record date or time INSTRUCTIONS. When recording wait for the red light to stop flashing then start recording - while recording the light will stay off. PLAYBACK: 1. If you only have files recorded with the device, press + to advance to next audio file, press - to move to previous audio file. 2. If you have both recorded files and downloaded audio files, device will play only either type press - to toggle between the two types of files, press + to advance to next audio file Cannot fast forward or reverse during playback. VOLUME Keep pressed down 3 seconds either + or - to increase or reduce audio volume. CHARGING Old model shows red light flashing, new model shows red light steady. Fully charged shows blue light steady (about 30 min to fully recharge). Don't keep charging for more than 1 hour (battery wear). Use only 1 Amp charger, do not use blue computer ports (2 Amps will wear battery). Update New model available as of 2022 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ipaGe7GKvJm4ZYk.html. It's very similar, slightly smaller and it records directly in MP3 format. The mic sensitivity is good from close distance, but from more far away (5m and more) the sound is more quiet than the older model shown in this video - so the newer model is less good for recording in a classroom. This old model has a very bad habit : the power switch moves way too easily by itself from a light touch. I found the recorder several times with the switch ON and battery dead. I now put a tape over the switch when I'm not using it. The newer model (see my other videos) fixed this issue with a stiffer power switch. People asked about recording time. I had the device recording by mistake and it recorded 2gb files of 24 hours 50 minutes long. It seems it stops recording after almost 25 hours non stop on a charge. Also, be careful because it's easy to move the recording button by mistake, maybe put a tape over the button so you don't activate by mistake when your are handling it (for example when you plug it to the computer) or when it's inside your pocket.

hello, i have had this recorder for a year now, it was working fine this whole time, until a couple days ago, i cannot playback the recordings, and my phone does not detect it with the otg cable anymore. when i plug in the earphones and turn it on the red light turns on then goes blue and then turns off all in like half a second. is there any way to fix this? when i connect it to my desktop it says driver not available now, it did not say that a few days ago. can you help? or is all i recorded lost.
