Thanks for the information ,very helpful video. I recently bought this recorder and the recordings get too much almost unbearable levels noise of scratches and knocks if recording holding it in hands . I believe its the sensitivity level that i need to bring down.

We have 2 of these both just over a year old. For some reason we can no longer get the recordings off of them and more. Our computer and laptop no long recognize these devices. Have you had this issue with yours and do you have any tips on how to get our computer to recognize this device again. Both computers are updated and have no issues other than what we are experiencing with this device. Thanks

oh youre awesome! thanks for this review...very thorough.... i love the idea of attaching this to the drone!! i am looking into getting a drone and this key chain is actually perfect for the drone! Im curious , is there a way to change the format of the recording into an MP3/MP4? As far as the instructions go...can you provide some clarification on what "Gain" means? it talks about sensitivity. Is it better to have higher or lower setting? Its sensitivity to what exactly? Other noises? does it block out surrounding noises and focuses on the thing you are recording? What about the Voice Activated Setting --> if you're at a lecture hall and you're sitting further from the stage, is it best to put it at a higher number? Does voice activated mean that you turn the voice recorder on "On" but it only records when someone is speaking and stops when someone is not speaking? what's the advantage then of not having the voice activation on? how do we know what level to put the voice activation? if Voice activation is on 4 or 5 , should the Gain be on lower? is there a correlation between the two? Sorry im throwing a lot of questions as your video was very clear and wondering if you understand the technicalities behind this and can hopefully explain it.... if not, could you share any links/videos/ resources that explains all this stuff. sometimes voice recordings have an echo, but then sometimes when someone is far, its hard to hear it post lecture.... I love that you did a sample. I'm wondering if you are able to do a sample of the different sensitivities or level settings and what you would recommend for larger spaces. Lastly, I've looked up the company Vandlion and i no longer see their products posted on Amazon. do you know where we can get this type of recording or what happened to the company?
