one question, why tinted the front windows 2 times?? ))) I usually only tinted the rear windows like that. two or even three times))) what kind of film do you use??

Of the front wind shield tint legal? It is not a solid black to prevent seeing in for cops. Im looking for something to put on my shield(s) but not get pulled over for

Is it possible to have chameleon tint as top layer and a black sun banner as second layer? so the chameleon tint would be covering full window.. instead of up to the banner?

Tint over tint?? Been asking shops to do this and all I ever get is No, $200 to remove tint on the vehicle then we will tint. Great job and keep it up!

Bad idea to tint over tint. No matter how you look at it, if either layer fails, or if you tint job isn't perfect, or the cut doesn't match (hand cut VS Plot cut which plot cut is never perfect to the glass), you will end up having to strip and tint the window, or windows at the shop cost, or the customer will end up paying to strip and tint it anyway. It's not worth it to most shops to waste time. The liability isn't worth it, which may be why they said no.

@@mikehonda7934all thhat yappin 🗑️🤡 Double tint is good with the right shop Now days some bunk shops just want to make a extra buck removing film to come by quick cash when in reality double tint is perfectly fine and also helps with the heat

@Window Tint Warriors have you had any issues with NYS messing with you about removing Inspection Stickers? I'm a 15y tint veteran from Upstate NY and some of the shops up there have had some issues with Inspection Removals. Some have been getting fines for removing them. Even with signed waivers.

Im curious Sean. How much is your rent for your shop? I been to your shop in the past and now I do tinting out of my parents garage but renting space on Long Island is so expensive!!!

Stay in your parents garage. Once you add rent to a landlord and taxes, you’ll be spending most your money working to pay the landlord. First several jobs every month will be for him. Then taxes will pinch your profit. You’ll have to raise prices, then get less work because you’ll be competing with the big shops.

The sad part of this , he will get pulled over and he will have to remove the tint!!!! Sad. You can’t alter any front windshield in America!!! No state allows this. Fact. It is a road hazard and not safe. So don’t do it
