Thats standard bully vibes honestly. I had an old english bulldog i adopted. He was a 100lb genetic freak of nature. He was atleast 6 inches taller then any other old english i have seen, named diesel, sounded like a mack truck idling while he slept was the grumpiest most lovable old bastard you could want. I had to put him down in february of 2022 because of cancer......i miss that grumpy headstrong bastard everyday. He was so stubborn if he tried to squeeze between the coffee table and thw couch and couldn't make it through he would either push his way through moving a 150lb coffee table or stand there until YOU moved it for him. I love bulldogs you won't find a breed with more peraonality.

Indeed, I love having them around me. In addition, I have two friends (married couple) who work at a zoo. I'm always amazed that, when i get to go see the animals I've come to know very well, i am, in fact, able to' know' them well -not buy their 'species', but rather by their personalities. Simply remarkable they all are. Thank you for showing, and sharing, some of your friends with us! Can you, however, load more 'Bam-Bam' videos? :D Liked and shared.

That's totally not true. I've met dogs that absolutely REFUSE to get along with the new addition. I had one as a matter of fact. No matter how hard anyone tried it just didn't work.

That’s great for both doggos. Bam has a playmate and Oso is clearly having more fun than before. Couch potato-ing is good but there’s more to life than just that.

The other dog should start couch potating shortly. That’s what happens when your airway is crushed.

​@@ohhi8725thanks for mentioning this; I didn't know the specifics of why it is problematic nor the term brachycephalic, but was vaguely aware of these breeds having some health problems. Now I've looked it up and have a better understanding. I.E. these breeds generally have a hard time naturally conceiving and birthing their young, most often being artificially inseminated and assisted births. Yikes.

I've had much better bred dogs that are lazy as pie. The problems you speak of are highly overrated.

​@@CarlosFinnoh yea, being able to breathe is totally overrated! 🙄 Perhaps you have misunderstood what the person was talking about, but the frenchie puppy in this video very obviously had a cleft palate, which is common in the breed. The mothers cannot give birth and require c-sections to even have the puppies, oftentimes prematurely, and then many puppies have cleft palates on top of it all, so they can't even create suction to nurse or be able to drink or eat without the milk/food pouring out the nose. It's not an "overrated" problem, my cousin is a veterinarian for a large rescue that has a neonatal program dedicated to preemie puppies and special needs puppies and she literally does HUNDREDS of cleft palate repairs on French Bulldogs that have been emergency surrenders from breeders that ironically do not have the time, finances and/or capabilities to take care of what they have created by breeding known issues into more and more generations.

This pup looks very sweet natured and well cared for, but it is really sad that humans have manipulated dog genetics to select for these unhealthy mutations. This is wrong. If you love dogs, choose better and don't contribute to this. If you want to choose a genetically superior dog, choose a mutt. You will be more likely to get a healthy animal and you will save money and lives.

Sounds like this little one is a rescue, which is lovely. I will still stand by my original post that encourages people to avoid purchasing these breeds and consider choosing mixed breeds for the health and love of all dogs. Of course, kudos to anyone who adopts a homeless dog...purebred or mutt!
