The new interior of the van looks so nice and short trip locally to do a shakedown ensures everything works ok. The cats were adorable waiting at the window for Laura's mum to arrive home.

When I was a kid we lived in down in Bedford. I can remember going down to the shops for fish and chips. So good.

I've seen some van lifers that have a gas exhaust hole drilled into the floor of their gas cupboard. You might feel safer if you do that.

Dans always been a one for hunting down pallets, i remember when we were kids we used to go up the factories next to ours to see if there was any pallets kicking about for us to use on bonfire night😂 the vans looking tremendous! You did a beautiful job remodeling the van. Lovely compared to what it was before. I really love the UK's history and all the beautiful castles. I saw a few when I was working at the US embassy in London in the 1980's, wish I would have been there longer, it is such a beautiful country. The van looks great! It will be so nice to have a seating space with a table. I wondered if you would rip out the shower in the van when you built your slab bathhouse. Your choices on what you really need in your small space must be so much more well informed now you have lived in it for 2yrs.

Well every van that has humans in it should have a cat and what better than a Meowing Simeese Kitty but remember when you get back to the land , you should look out for the black dog, who is impatiently awaiting your return, preferably with a can opener so he can have his well promised meals.

Whether from fumes or explosion being the last actual cooker itself,(gas is great as long as it's done right/no leaks or breaks).. Like that you always have fun and throw in the humourous bits! I ment Lexan glass as it does not scratch but is tough and durable then you can see what is in those cupboards, we used plastic trays/bins for underwear and socks, kept thos items in one spot, canned goods in a part of a cupboard or lined up in a row front to back for each item. Dry clean socks are important on a wet day same for dry t-shirt.
