What a lovely little cabin, it looks very cozy. The table is my favorite part! I love your screened porch, too. Great work!
@TimTools996 жыл бұрын
Thanks Callie. I wanted to show people that if they wanted a basic cabin that it could be done relatively cheaply. (Compared to the full featured Tiny Houses which are miniature houses that can cost as much as buying a real house. ). P.S. Glad you liked my little table. Ha!

It's nice to see that simple life still exists. I did my tiny home on a 30ft Gooseneck and a little more complex than yours. I put 55k in it with me building it but I travel with mine do to my wife being a travel nurse. I love the cabin sir and enjoyed watching how you built it. I can say I would go with 2 batteries for you battery Bank with 2 100 watt Dolores panels that will last for 10+ years. Thank you for the video.
@TimTools992 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment. You must have quite a tiny house! This thing I built is basically a place to get in out of the weather. I did it as cheaply as I could and still have a decent little cabin.

I truly ad more your craftsmanship it's crazy to me that you build this with your bare hands exactly the way wanted. It's a dream of mine to do the same but it's very unlikely I will ever get to do it so I live vicariously through builders like yourself to get my tiny house fix. Great job! 👍🏾😄

There is something to be said about keeping it simple. This thing is awesome! I'm 53 and when I was a child oh probably about 4 or 5 I remember my mom reading a book to me, it was called the Boxcar Children where these kids lived in a train boxcar, and I thought that was so cool. This reminds me of that. Thanks man. :)

I would love to jump on the tiy house bandwagon. I think it would be like camping everyday. They are small but really how big of a house does one really need. I like the aspect of no house payment, being able to move if it you wanted too. Tiny house living seems the new way to build.

I like your little cabin. Something like this is what I've been looking into for a hunting/fishing weekend cabin. Was thinking about getting a RV, but I really like the way this came out - simple is all I'm looking for, and the RV's are made so low quality. I could park something like this at my camp and not have to worry too much about it for years.

Very nice work. Something like this might be an option in the future as a guest cabin on some property we have in central Texas. The biggest difference is it will need AC, but either a window unit or a mini split would work well in a small space like that.
