Exactly. I live in Canada. The fridge would quickly malfunction when the outdoor temperature was less than inside the fridge. And of course the washing machine water lines would freeze and a dryer just would not work at all....

Put Fridge Under the Stairs and use a Laundromat. Or it don't really Need Two Doors, Put Fridge where second door is and put a Washer/Dryer Under Stairs.

@@ravenlorans If it is rural there may not be a laundromat close by. Where I live, building code says you need 2 doors (in case of fire) regardless of the size.

And it always amazes me that rarely do any of these designs include CLOSETS. Is it a sin to add an extra two feet to the design to add closets? And stick the fridge under the steps at the end, close to the outside door, that should be a room for laundry. And where are the heating and cooling units? This is a beautiful playhouse but for real living, you are wrong, this house does not include ALL OF THE NECESSARY HOUSEHOLD AMENITIES. And is there a code that says all minimalists can't have an oven? Or a microwave, or a pantry???? Two extra feet on the width folks! Two extra feet!!!!

Тут нет прихожей с гардеробной, нет холодильника. У нас в Воронежской области есть такие домики и даже для нашего холодного климата подходят. Очень экономные в плане коммунальных платежей. Привет из России.

No cabinets in the kitchen and no oven although the cabinet below the cooktop could be reconfigured along with little storage anywhere else in the home.If this home were about 500 sqft, all those shortcomings would disappear, making it perfect for a retired couple or first time home buyers.

Loved the decks/porches. Loved the color scheme. Where is the fridge? Is there a dishwasher? Absolutely no way would we put a laundry outside! Definitely another cabinet in kitchen above small window.

We need to learn to go back in time to wash for when they shut off everyones electricity. If you think liquid fuels is going up in cost wait a few yrs and see what electricity will cost. I will bank on it beong 75-150% more at a mininum.

A washer and dryer outside?? What about spider webs , inclamate weather etc?? It just looks like you made the plan but forgot about the laundryroom. Just build in the porch and it would be fine. Also where do you put your coats and shoes when you come in from the rain or snow?.

Molto bella..! Le uniche cose, essenziali secondo me, che mi sembra manchino, sono : un sistema di riscaldamento, il bidet nel bagno, un corrimano, meglio se su entrambi i lati, per le scale che sono abbastanza strette e ripide..Per il resto è perfetto, essenziale e con un panorama bellissimo 😊

The fridge looks to be outside next to the laundry -- it's a short fridge to the right. (I agree, though -- I'd only be interested in that if the side porch w/the laundry/fridge had at least sliding hard covers/screens to enclose it on rainy/stormy days.)

House needs more square footage to give basic space for living. Kitchen is too tight with barely any storage. Where is the fridge? Cupboards? The space between the living room and kitchen is too tight. How are the kids to open the closet with the desk in the way? How do the parents open the drawers in the loft bed? It's all too tight, not functional.

@@ravenlorans I like your idea of putting the fridge where the door is and washer/dryer under the stairs. But this house still needs some storage. Seasonal coats, etc. And your comment about "go to a laundromat". I live in the country. The closest laundromat is 22 miles away and I am handicapped. Do you know how difficult it is to take the laundry across town, wash, dry, fold, and then carefully load up and then carry into the house? Not practical. ... But your solution is sound and doable. Just still believe that adding just a little bit more enclosed space since the roof is already in place and the slab, makes sense to enclose. That makes the house livable and functional.
