Salou is a municipality of the comarca of Tarragonès, in the province of Tarragona, in Catalonia, Spain. The city is approximately 10 km from Tarragona and Reus on the Costa Daurada and 112 km from Barcelona. Aside from its string of beaches interrupted by rocky coves, and its landscaped promenade, one of its main attractions is the PortAventura World resort.
Salou is founded by the Greeks in the 6th century BC., the city constituted an outstanding commercial port during the Middle Ages and the Modern Age. Throughout the 20th century, Salou, located on the so-called Costa Dorada , became an important tourist center, a condition that it maintains today.

Absolutely amazing! With nostalgia, I remember walking through the evening Mediterranean cities in the hot air, along the crowded streets lined with shops. At every step I could buy beer, food or ice cream, ...Beautiful video, thank you guys! I hope to experience it again next summer.

I remember the last time I was there was back in October 2017. One of the best times of my life. I miss the town, it’s atmosphere, and views dearly. I can’t wait to go back there in 2021!

I started to go here when I was 5 , now I’m 11 . We would stay 2 weeks with our cousins . But bc of COVID we couldn’t go , so my dad planed our holiday to be 3 weeks now ! :D And this video was good!😄

Would salou be a nice spot for a couple in their late 20s that like a good buzz but also quiet too. Went to Tenerife this year and was not overly impressed.

Tengo cariño a este lugar porque he ido miles de veces y me da mucha nostalgia. Pero es cierto que para mí su atractivo principal es PortAventura World... De no ser por el parque nunca me habría llamado la atención ir a Salou ya que su único atractivo que lo diferencia es ese. Aunque Tarragona ciudad merece una visita obligada al igual que la provincia. Me sabe mal verlo así porque se nota mucho el COVID... Y Salou vive de ese turismo...

15:30 We have an appartement in that white with yellow building you see on the left. I´m on vacation here right now. We come here every year in august. This is a really nice place to chill but also do really fun activities. You can go to the beach and we sometimes swim in the pool at our appartement. You can also ride a bike, there is a bike rental just next to the white building you see. You can rent a jetski or go parasailing in the sea. We sometimes go nightswimming, it´s like a tradition for us. I am comming here since i was born with my parents and this place has a special place in my heart. Ps: you only have to drive an hour to go to Barcelona!

Excelente videography in all aspects , in my opinion as a photographer, just I would like a low low low soft music background plus with the natural noise of the area will be perfect for me, but is just my opinion, but excelente work I really enjoy

Hi Hugo. Thanks for the advise. At the beginning of our journey on KZfaq, we did put soft music in the background to achieve a relaxing purpose. But very quickly we stop doing it. Because we found it a little distracting and music taste is so subjective, over time it's also getting old and we can't remove it once published. So we just stick to the good quality ambient sound, which is actually really nice in many videos we filmed in nature. Hope you have a good one, buddy. 😁

Those stupid masks make me depressed. I hope we never see mass stupidity like that again. When I was there in October 22 they were still making you wear the useless things on buses and in pharmacies. Ridiculous.
