VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Van life started for Alexandria with a Pinterest board of tiny living dreams. After a shift on her life's path, she realized it was the best time to dive into van life. This hard-working, outdoorsy girl designed her rig around the garage to store her athletic gear and the office table, which she uses 10 hours a day with her remote full-time job.
Under the bed is where she keeps all four seasons of clothes nicely folded and organized, a unique storage hack! Her kitchen is basic since she's not an elaborate cook. Most of the upper cabinets are full of miscellaneous items and dog supplies for her little co-pilot.

I am currently moving from a lovely two BR apt with large kitchen to a 450 sq ft studio. I love your color scheme. I find it comforting and is what I am using. I also have thousands of $ of artwork and two open flights of stairs where I hope to hang it. At 80 this is a challenge. I am taking from the van and tiny homes designs as encouragement that I can make it work. Carriage house is totally dormers so difficult to make end tables, teak and boat deck style, and lamps work. I really admire all of you who are taking the courage to downsize beautifully. Your home is just wonderful. I will have more to work with but won’t be able to see more of the world like you. Oh,to be 50 again. Enjoy ! You deserve it.

I love to see the what you young people come up with, in the seventies and eighties we put a bed a bar and shag and painted a mural on the out side. I think you did a wonderful job I like the layout the construction and we’re you were coming from with purpose all and usability’s.

Several builders have done that "cut-out" for extra width sleeping space and I am curious: does it feel colder in the cut-out section(s)? Is it insulated? If so, how much?

That's a great clothes storage idea. Might want to use a hole saw to add ventilation to prevent the mattress and clothes from getting too humid. Unless it's vented somewhere else. Also like your sit or stand-up desk counter. ⭐

Nice build. I like the neutral color scheme. You can't take it anywhere you want, though. You are tied to a cell-phone tower. Try that out on deserted BLM land. Lol.
