I am SO glad i found this; thank you! I am desperate for an adhesive solution. I have tried everything. I finally discovered these sheets of adhesive that really help but are not always reliable for some reason. Then i was watching Anna Griffin's show and heard her say to use Xyron. I had never heard of it! I am still not sure how she uses it for piecing, but i had to look it up. I spelled it all wrong, but AI seemed to catch it and corrected my search. Thank heavens! I am dying to try this! I would have been crushed if i had spent that much money and then had those icky problems! I have ruined so many cards, especially using metallic card stock! I was dying for a solution. I started with various glues, but they ruined my intricate dies or dried before i could painstakingly finish getting glue on them. And the tape runners! Oh, the tape runners! So many i have had to throw out after only a few uses! They won't roll or just come apart! I tried every trick they suggested! I still have 2 more brands in the drawer, but I am afraid to even try! I bet i have spent well over $200 on adhesives in the 8 months that i have been card making! One glue i opened, and it had turned to sponge rubber! Ha! No one could believe it when i returned it. I have the most lovely dies, but I had almost given up when i found the sheets. Yet, they did not seem strong enough at times, so maybe this is the solution. I am dying to try piecing but cannot quite understand how to cut it so the pieces don't fall out. Thank you!❤

Hands down... best tip of the year! Found this at just exactly the right time: I had messed up two intricate foiled die-cuts trying to use the Xyron as the adhesive! FYI: I don't have a Gemini, so I tried it with the Sizzix BigKick using this sandwich: original Multi-purpose Base with both Tabs, Chrome Precision Base Plate, die-cut with Xyron adhesive, silicon rubber mat, regular acrylic cutting plate. It worked perfectly!

This was by far the most valuable tip for intricate dies. This video is a gem for gluing such detailed dies because no matter how careful I am for applying liquid glue, I make a mess. I have been literally putting posts out for the last 7 years asking people for tips as to how to get those sticky boogers off of the die cuts he run through the xyron.
