A nomadic South African currently roaming Europe, Portable is showing a similar restlessness with his creations. On his new EP he surgically removes the 4/4 foundations from his recent (& excellent) LP for Circus Company, transforming the dancefloor designs into unsleeping, unignorable undulating soundscapes fit for a new generation of ambient warriors, who aren't quite ready for the more established, palliative ambient wellness centers.
The track in the video is, "The Color of Static (Africa Ambient)", but make sure you check the full release, it's a serious journey.

Beautiful, with a sense of foreboding to my ears anyhow. The air itself is unsettled. Just my interpretation plus this is my first listen…. Thank you, this is new to me 🖤
