Faber-Castell Castell also has the writing sets in a few colors. They are the smallest nib, but I love them for Bible study and some Bible journaling...also for just general felt tip writing. I’m kind of a pen snob and much prefer the finer nibs for writing. I have the full set of brush nibs also and totally agree that the big brush are better for coloring stamps. I have found that Faber-Castell pens are an incredible investment if you want quality products for use in your Bible. I enjoy the micron pens, but prefer the Faber-Castell over them because, at least for me, they last longer. Thanks for sharing this video, Lindsey. I’m learning a lot from your “Tip Tuesday”series.

The 1,5 notation is probably in international notation. Some countries switch the use of “.” and “,” from the way we use them in the US. So 1,5 = 1.5. I know my Microns come in 0.3, 0.5, 1 etc so maybe that one is size 1.5.

The smallest sizes are called extra superfine(XS) and superfine(S)! Love these pens! I use XS in my journaling bible and bullet journal!

Try using Masters brush cleaner and preserver to clean your journaling pens, if I can find where I saw it I’ll link it.

i've been using clear gesso in between layers and this protects the fine nibs. the sakura microperm pens also work on top of sealing layers (sakuraofamerica.com/pen-permanent-ink). i've had to use the pitt pens as the base layer to protect the nibs, and they work well this way. the highlighter gelatos set is perfect on top of the colored ink and brush pitt pens. awesome tip about clipping the fuzzies. i have a few tombow brush pens, and they weren't used properly on smooth surfaces so...they don't draw a clean line. thanks for that detail.

I choose to worship through reading, studying, and art. The art is a way for me to reflect/meditate on what I am studying and helps with memorization. It isn’t for everyone and that is okay...we all have different ways of worshipping God 😉
