I work at Hobby Lobby and have seen this at our store and have always wondered how to use this product. Thank you for sharing the information and now I think I may have found another phase of crafting that I have to try. lol

Howdy, I loved working with these and found quite a few still unopened. I have tons of colors and my two-fold QUESTIONS are: a) Is there an expiry date once bottle is opened?, and b) is there an expiry date on un-opened bottles?

Plaid Crafts or anyone, do you know if a tint could be used in the Gallery Glass Clear Paint? I love the texture look and would like to use it with a color.

The lines on glass.....when they are applied to plexiglass will they adhere to the plexiglass after seven days and become permanent? Or is this only good for making the removable glass art?

Hi, I have big bottle of the liquid leading, but the liquid comes out more in globs that the smooth line you show here. Is there a way of adding "runniness" to the paint, I'm unsure if adding water into the bottle would help. It's a big bummer since I just got the big bottle and only managed to use it once before it became hard to apply 😬

They got leading tape now. I'd recommend just using that. It's more flexible than the one in this video.

@@ariannasilva4462 I haven't found the tape for sale here in Finland, already the colours are hard to track down and there's very limited supply 😅 I would be curious to try it if I get the chance though!

Summer I lay bottle in sun 30 min., winter I place in warm water like formula bottle.

Do you have to wait for leading to dry before filling in with color?

Yes. They say to let it dry overnight.

No, but unless some hurry I would wait because leading can relax as dries and widens.

Hello, is it possible to make your design on another surface, besides glass, and transfer to a window? I would love your thoughts please.

It's only removable on glass, but you could use perhaps a glass from a photo frame to do a smaller project and transfer it! It will not come off of plexiglass though.

@@AMidnightGardeneryou can use it on plexiglass. It’s difficult to remove, as plexiglass is porous, whereas glass is not.

I want to use it on a glass coffee table, but im worried aboutthe texture if i do it on the top. Will it be pretty if i paint on the other side of the glass ?

The lead lines will probably look odd, but the rest should look the same. Try doing a test

Absolutely, I don't use their patterns, most free hand and some pieces four layers or multiple colors. I get great 3 D look.

I have some gallery blasting glass windows that I’ve had for years. The paint becomes brittle.

Can you mix different colors together?

Yes you can mix two colors together. Very gently mix the colors together without mixing too much air into the mixture. You want to avoid air bubbles. If you see air bubbles use a needle 🪡 to pop them, or tap on the project from behind. I hope this helps.

The back of the glass will be flat. No dimension. Still beautiful. The size you painted on will look more realistic. It will have texture.

The "Ruby Red" is a super pale pink. Disappointed as it's the main colour l needed for my project. Anyone know of a true translucent red product to use??? Really need help here.

Try mixing a bit of pure red pigment to the gallery glass paint. Let it dry and see if this helps, before applying it to your project.

I wish someone would answer some questions from us. How can I make it where it won't peel off?

It will not peel off by itself, if that is what you are worried about. The paint is not permanent on glass, but it will stay until you want to remove it.

Seal edge to edge. Where she shows circles, in time this stuff can become hard and brittle like finger nail polish You want sealed and never dust with a cloth, I use large paint brush to dust periodically.
