My secret tip to getting a full garland around any space is using a black wire or chicken wire. #christmasdecor #christmas #holiday #shorts

I love this. I used to decorate my houses as well, but I live in more poor neighborhoods and the decorations would end up stolen. Now I don’t have any anymore 😔

Maybe you could try jury-rigging an alarm device if you ever set them up again?? If someone tries to steal it have some kind of contraption that will activate an air-horn when they tug, so it scares them off? Hope you can put up decorations again one day ❤ Merry (early) Christmas!

Holy cow that looks like so much work. It was also gorgeous before you added all the decorations, it was minimalistic and fresh and elegant, then you made it magical XD It's also very sweet how you have your little helpers with making that magic

That is such a great tip on how to set up the base of the garland! The chicken wire hanging as a base to then attach and build on. Usually I would try to put those garlands together first, then struggle to hang it around the door, I never would have thought to put something down first

How do you attach chicken wire?

You first add the command hooks to your framework around the door, then you hang the chicken wire onto the command hooks, then proceed from there.
