I mean dont do the ride through uber but use uber to get the price. E.g if uber going to charge 50$ and commission uber takes is $10...charge client $45. Both parties better off

Yes, if I can have people contact me directly then its better. I still have them order through the app. When they get in your car just ask them to order in the app. Makes it so you're covered with insurance and legal

Comfort is a waste, do not buy a car to do comfort. Not worth it

In my market (Tampa Bay), comfort pays about 20% better than X and about the same (pennies difference) as XL. But, in my market anyway, rider demand for comfort is pretty low. I'll second what Nick said, don't buy a car for comfort, it's not worth it. If you want to drive X and/or do food delivery, get the cheapest used prius you can find. If you want to upgrade your vehicle higher than X, an XL eligible vehicle is the minimum. Ideally, a vehicle that is also eligible for higher tiers as well. In most markets there is a solid baseline demand for XL rides. Mostly evening/nights and anytime there are big events going on. When people want to go out as a group and travel together in one car, they have no choice, it's XL or nothing.
