Practice in front of a mirror or imagine the student is a child in your life such as your son or daughter or your niece or nephew or a student you have taught in the past. Give them my name and make them real to you. It takes time to learn to feel comfortable in front of the camera whether it’s a practice lesson or a real student. 😊 Once you are very familiar with the material and the slides you will feel less awkward. Preparation is definitely the key. Do not rush booking in your interview. If you need more time to practice schedule it for a later date. Trial classes can be booked up to 2 hours prior. Keep an eye on your schedule and you can look in the lesson preparations to see what the slides and the class will be about. Once you get regulars, they are booked 24 hours ahead to 14 days ahead. Yes, it is the same, If you did your interview after August 2020. I think that's when it changed to the new format. You may see older versions on KZfaq, including my own. I love the new animated version. It is so much more engaging for the students. 😀👏💕

No. It automatically starts recording at the time you have set. As long as you turn up when it actually starts recording, that is fine to change it.

Headphones are optional but if you have a noisy background it is best to wear headphones to block out of the noise around you so the student can hear you well and to avoid any complaints from parents.
