Tips on how to find family accommodation in the UK.
In this video, I shared Tips on how my family was able to find a family accommodation in the UK within a short time frame. I also shared how most international students were able to find students family accommodation in the UK.

Great job with the very honest tips. The accommodation thing is such a big hurdle for people coming in and it's difficult for a lot of people to understand that it is nearly impossible to get a non student accommodation whilst outside of the UK. Even when we returned to the UK haven moved back to Nigeria for only 5 months, we still had to stay in a hotel for about two weeks before we secured our apartment (and we did not even have any child yet. It was just myself and my husband).

You see, most often you don't need to bother relatives or friends because squatting in someone's house its a whole lot of stress for both parties. Thanks so much for your contribution

Congratulations on 6k sis more wins ahead. The tips on securing accommodation as a family really come in handy. Going for Air bnb before searching for the main accommodation is really good idea. Coz you have enough space and everything. You can cook your own food as well saving alot. All point well explained

Sis Chy I love this Ur dress so much🥰. Seriously traveling anywhere it's not adviced to b in an hotel if u are going to stay more Dan 4 days especially Wen u are with a family, d best is that Air B n B. I see that getting an apartment of Ur choice is very easy in Ur city o, Even here in Nigeria,most landlords don't rent houses that are expensive to students or NYSC members. During my time of Nysc d landlord refused to give me d best house I wanted

Getting a shared house might be a bit hard unless you already known someone who can offer you a spare room to stay. Still consider downloading the Airbnb UK app and reach out directly to the house owners. Remember to always remember the house reviews from others who have stayed there

Thanks so much for joining me here Dr. Newton. You will be able to find an accommodation easily for a family of 3. It's still much easier when you've arrived here staying in a hotel or Airbnb. Meanwhile a hotel won't be great for you hence, your wife need a kitchen to boil water for your baby. Google a room apartment or a studio apartment in Aberdeen. Use filters to narrow your search within walking distance from your wife's school. 1mile away from her school won't be bad for a walk. Alternatively for example, Google studio apartments near "Aberdeen University" or input her University name or postcode. Many thanks to your wife. Goodluck.

You get a better chance of finding a house if one of you is already working. For a start find a shared flat or a spareroom. Spareroom is an app. Google it

It all depends on what the owner or landlord is able to offer you guys. Meanwhile, Google Airbnb in Leicester, check for a room, you will have access to a sitting room too if the landlord isn't staying there. Meanwhile it welcomes up with videos, photos and the amount for any accommodation too

Yes of cos. My husband, my son and myself moved straight into an Airbnb apartment from Saudi and that was the address we used as a place of stay in the UK when we submitted our applications and all of us got our visas

Hello Chy, your content is very informative. My wife came in with a skilled workers visa in October and has been unable to secure an apartment for us. (We have two kids) we are joining her in a few days time to manage her one room provided by her employer). It has been difficult for her I don't know if you can help us with contacts in Truro Cornwall who can get us a family accommodation.

This is really sad to learn this. At least it's always easy for people on a skilled workers visa to find an accommodation. She can search on Rightmove, Zoopola or Google housing agents near me, then go to their office.

It's more economical than staying in a hotel. We paid £50 a day but in a studio apartment Airbnb. We also paid £65 a night, in the same building but in a different apartment, with a separate kitchen, bathroom, a room and a living. Studio apartment it's always cheaper but you have your dinning, kitchen and living room in the same enclosure with no demarcation. You can also find an Airbnb that has the house owner staying in this house, it's also a good one because the house owner would put you through to a lot if the person is nice.

Download Airbnb UK app from your playstore. Search for Airbnb accommodation in the location where you and your family will be arriving. In guest house, you can't cook, or wash your clothes. You can't even store some of the Foodstuffs you brought in the fridge as there's no fridge for you but in Airbnb, you have everything

Getting an accommodation from outside of the UK is a bit tricky. Get an Airbnb first please. Unless you know anyone you can share a house with or try Google spare room, shared flats within your school area. Goodluck

Sure. Hence there are two beds. Ours had a double sized bed for me and my husband and another double bunker bed for kids. Our son laid on the lower one while the upper one was empty
