The ducks are an important part of our little farm. So we built a coop that is designed for our climate, ducks, and homestead. Here is how you can do the same.

Thank u for sharing. I like the openness of ur coop & glad to hear the ducks like it too. Love ur nesting boxes too. Ur eggs looked clean too. I like ur idea of moving the ducks around, instead of being in the same place all the time. Do the ducks go in at night automatically or do u have to herd them in?

Do you have winter? Ducks need to nest off the ground in winter. Awe you just answered in your video 😊

A weasel got into my duck coop and mortally wounded my drake, and severely injured my girls! Please consider securing the bottom! I never thought it would happen to me, i don't want it to happen to anyone else!!

I like to buy one. The only thing is our land is not as flat as yours. It has elevation of anywhere from 5 to 15% slopes and very bumpy with potholes, and also rocky too. We may need one with tougher wheels, but I do like the idea of metal for durability and not as heavy. Also, would be nice to have the adjustable handle for both manual lifting and atv due to the size of our property. So, have you built it for selling in the market yet? Thanks.

I've thought of this. I think there is a huge need for better coops. Now if I could only find the time to start a new business...

They wouldn't work inbthe snow. Ducks need to nest above the ground in winter. But yes i do love this idea

Can you give some more details on that water set up? I'm trying to think how it doesn't spill out of the end cups since they seem to be lower than the barrel.

These cups have a little valve on them, so it shuts off as the weight of the water pushes it down. It works, but it's not durable. We have to replace them every 6 months or so.

Nice video . Don’t the ducks and chickens fly over the fence? Hawks keep taking out my birds it’s very stressful
