In this episode I show you show upgrades we've done on the coop, talk about the importance of water and food. We finally have some eggs and YES we have baby ducks!!!
You will have to wait for the next episode for the babies however there is a glimpse at the beginning!!!
I hope this was helpful for anyone wanting to start out with owning ducks.

@@adventurechristv613 I am new to your channel and please I have a very dark sense of humor so don't take this the wrong way but where I am from in Northwest Texas and where I was born in East Texas when someone says ,,,good for you,,,🤣 that means🤣 we really don't give a shit 🤣lol isn't it funny how different cultures have different meanings for different languages and stuff. When I was in Amsterdam they would say howdy ,,,,but they men goodbye..... and we say howdy , and to us here in Texas that means hello

Also ducks love some left overs. Mine love plain spaghetti and rice, it’s like crack..lol. No left overs gone to waste 😀. Love the videos!

Excellent video and I will definitely be using some of your ideas. Just got 15 Khaki Campbell ducks and going into panic mode because they grow so much faster than chickens and haven't got the coop done yet. Additionally, I believe that duck eggs are way better for baking. May be more psychological but seems to make things more moist.

Haha! I get it. I got goslings and found out they are the faster growing of all poultry and didn't get my coop done quick enough.

@@moniquechurchill6857 I was able to get it done. Just had to put into high gear. 😂 Just got done with their nesting box area as well. These ducks are great but I do have six drakes. Need to thin them down to about 2. Looks like roast duck coming soon.

How is the automatic door working out for the ducks? Mine won't go into their house at night so I can't really use one of those without them getting locked out. Would be nice for the morning though

Yes agreed, we don’t rely on it at night but it is useful in the morning so we don’t have to crawl out of bed in a Saturday morning lol

what? longer shelf life than chicken eggs ? I keep indian runners for very first year (after 20y of just chickens) and everything I hear about eggs is that they need to be on pan in 10 days. I'm confused.
