I leave my chains on year round. Wet yard and lots of hills. Never got stuck once or spun a tire since I put them on.

Thank you for the video. We live in Ohio and wasn’t expecting the amount of snow we just had. I almost bought a snowblower two months ago and everyone kept telling me Ohio doesn’t get enough snow for a blower. Well now we are stuck in about 10 in of snow. I’ll be investing in this end of year. Thank you.

Wow, that's certainly a lot of snow. The nice thing about this plow is that it can be used year round.

Is it weird that I'm jealous of your annual snowfall? :) It's great you can get 4 seasons out of your Ultima ZT1! Anxious to see you plow snow with it! Great video Mark!

I have chains on my zero turn cub cadet too. 58 inch blade. I put small zip ties on the lock downs on the chains to insure they don’t unlatch accidentally. Good video. 👍🏼

That's a good idea. I've had good luck with these chains staying on so far. I used to have an Ingersol lawn tractor that needed that method.

The manual has a suggested oil chart with recommendations for different ambient temp ranges

Yes, it might be a good idea to get thinner oil in cold climates and seasons.

I use full synthetic Amsoil small engine oil with zinc in it.

Hi Mark, do you still recommend the plower for the zero turn? I am thinking of grabbing one of these before the cold Montana winter hits. I have a gravel driveway that’s about 130 feet long and thought about getting one of those walkable snow blowers but I want something that will get the job done faster.

I use mine more to smooth out the gravel driveway and I'm happy with it. For snow, I mostly use my snow blower. It seems our snow is always heavy and wet, which is more of a challenge for deep snow plowing.

@@MarkThomasBuilder Hi Mark, what kind of snowblower do you use (model)? I have a gravel driveway as well and thought about the plower but the bad reviews is having me second questing it. Someone is selling a new 60” plower online at a cheaper price but I just don’t know. The reason why I want the plower is to get it the snow out quickly. But I am no pro when it comes to snow as this will be my first winter dealing with snow as I am from California. Cheers.
