Yeah… it looks very clunky. It just feels like it has all the hallmarks of something that presents itself as some sort of redefining gaming experience but the result ends up being a bunch half baked systems cobbled together. Who knows but I have a feeling it’s going to try and do 100 different things but none of them particularly well.

Dont get your hopes up, NCSoft is notorious for making terrible games, and adding an abysmal cash shop. When a south korean based company, is despised by south koreans for their over the top microtransactions. Then you know something stinks lol

Yeah, seems to be the case with most East Asian games studios and their shooters. They just sound so artificial and flat, dunno if it’s because guns aren’t as accessible there or that they’re cheaping out. Could be both tbh

Dunno why it’s hard to get a feel for how good gunplay feels like Destiny gunplay tbh. If the other looter shooters had a feeling like that, they’d get more retention for sure.

So many "MMOS looters" have came out and none of them seem to come close to how well Destiny, Warframe and the Devision has done. First decendant is okay but the story is a 1/10 I'm just getting to the endgame at the moment but I do injoy the gameplay of first decendant...for now.

@@killval849 They lack the home-ness. I can always go back to FF XIV, Destiny, Warframe.. Korean games do not have that for me. Maybe it has something to do with Koreans being absolutely unable to tell solid coherent story and hire voice actors somewhere else than fiver

Most non Japanese East asian games are all P2W garbage sadly. Most recent example, The First Descendant.

@@thepeps101 Yeah. The only difference is, some Chinese games are actually good games, just with predatory monetization. I enjoy Mihoyo games and over years I did not spend more than 100-150 buck. And every time it was rational decision to buy battle pass or something because I got loads of fun in those. Korean games.. they specifically make everything so complicated, menus on top of menus, story is always trash. Lost Ark at least offered awesome bosses but that game also has one of the hardest paywalls I ever saw.

Just waiting for Exodus, made by the former devs that worked on the Mass Effect trilogy.

The robot segment reminded me of HAWKEN more than Titanfall tbh

No melee mechanics shown, jetpack looks more like its only useful for boost jump and dropping in from the heli - No free flight from what we've seen. Not anthem at all movement wise, which is a MASSIVE part of the great feel anthem had.

most shti thats different is ass though until something comes along to actually properly execute things in a state thats competitive to what we already have or a genuinely new experience not some copy paste bs i dont care whats coming next. the first descendant for example copy pasted assets from destiny itself lol go look it up its very real. this has so many elements copied from the division. why would i venture out as you say when the things to venture out to are poorly executed asset flips of what we already got?

Destiny, despite its problems, is a very polished experience. Its lore, gunplay, abilities and pve content can't be found anywhere else. You are right though, that destiny players want something new. But what they want is a direct competitor to destiny. Something that has all the elements that they love about destiny and more. Anthem died pretty much on release. The closest thing we got was Borderlands 3, but that game had the worst writing imaginable. Even though the gameplay was good, the dialogue in that game made you want to kill yourself. Outriders was cool but short-lived. There isn't any game out there that can fill the niche that destiny has. And those games that do try don't have the same quality. The first descendant feels soulless, because it doesn't have an artstyle. On one hand you have a character with her bare ass hanging out and on the other hand you have a fucking panda. And it has audio issues that really stand out. Maybe that's a nitpick because I don't really like the game, tbh I would rather play warframe.
