There were about 8 things to go wrong before it would sink. All 8 happened. It's like the JWSTelescope. The launch and placement had over 900 complete failure points, but NASA built in backups, sometimes triple or more, for them. Three backups had to be used but worked perfectly.

When I first saw the video of these new 3D scans, it actually made me really sad to see just how rotten and deteriorated she's gotten since discovered back in 1985, and it made me think about her eventually becoming one with the sea floor someday. Eventually, there will be no Titanic and that's the main reason I actually support lifting objects from the wreck site, that way we'll always have a physical part of her and her history.
@massivecunt8263

Honestly while the ship has deteriorated (mainly the already crushed stern) it's not nearly as bad as the scientists had predicted. The bow still stands proud and in overall great condition compared to every scientist estimations. Even Cameron said that there were years between his expeditions and the ship had barely moved. In our lifetime it will probably still be very recognizable

Have a look at the first Davit on starboard side. Its not swang out, like it should be to let the life boat in the water, it is straight upside. 1 st Officer Murdoch, who launched the boats on starboard side, wanted to prepare the last boat (A) from the roof of the Officer quarters. Even when the water was coming he still tried to get the Davit up to launch this last boat. And now the Davit is still in the position Murdoch brought it to.

Multiple reasons: the salvor company rmstitanic is borderline broke so paying a dive company is not in their interest right now, after the oceangate affair everyone is sketched out about going there especially with the fact you have to charter a ROV ( no options for a submarine right now) the you need a mini ROV on there to go into the shop and be willing to risk losing it. Maybe in a few year when everything quiets down but right now sadly no.

I think there is also gold or jewelry, there are rich people there who died, it's almost 111 years, but when I think about it, I feel so sad what happened, then the clothes, it's terrible, everything is rusted, but it's still whole, it still makes me cry when I think about the fifth of Rose, especially of them and Jack, why didn't Jack go up, I wish he was still alive then and they would have more together. They are ready to be lost, but what if someone gets it or someone can pick it up one day? but I know that's very heavy, but it hurts when you think about their story :(((

Lol nope. This very same scan itself recorded Titanic's yard number 401 that's still in the wreck. That yard number is more than enough proof to say it's Titanic down there.
