@@cinemaximum5654Regular graveyards are safe…this one isn’t. Too many are using this as a tourist attraction… It’s not OK for these companies making money of the dead ….It’s disrespectful. I don’t mind people (scientist/oceanographers )going there for scientific reasons to learn or take as many pictures as possible, and to record the deterioration of it… Because someday it’s going to be gone. But people have gone there and damaged it, people have gone there and taken items that are now in private collections and others even gotten married there. Are these things that people do when they visit a regular cemetery? Of course not. The Titanic should be given the same respect.

I almost cried because between 12 and 1 UK time the Oxygen supposedly will run out and it is now clear they will not make it I wish their families the best and my condolences to them because imagine the situation if it was your family or friends or just someone you knew that you built a bond with and suddenly it's gone it deep and sad

David Lochridge, a pilot who helped test the sub, claims he was fired after he warned that the vessel may not be able to withstand the pressure of the deep ocean, according to The New Republic. He claims that when he raised concerns that the company might be putting its clients at risk, he was given “10 minutes to immediately clear out his desk.”

I don’t understand the obsession with titanic, enough to pay that kind of money and risk your life. I mean it’s interesting to see a part of history but I’m sure they drive/walk by pieces of history every day on land every day without batting an eye. I feel like it’s because they saw the movie as a child and it started an infatuation or something. There’s a titanic museum, why not go there and stay safe? Go visit the memorial in NY. Why not take the 250k and feed families struggling right now. There’s people wishing they had 10$ so they can eat, meanwhile people are breaking down in tears because they didn’t get to spend their quarter million dollars to see the to catch a pretty faint glimpse of titanic because of weather. It would bother me a lot more blowing that kind of money knowing there’s millions of ppl in need, than it would not seeing the titanic. I don’t get it.

@@TLllllll the fascination exists ENTIRELY in how unobtainable the titanic wreck is. It’s not just the level of tragedy since there are by far more tragic sites to visit, it’s the tragedy coupled with the gawking being hard to actually do. Add in a little human error for spice since titanic didn’t have to be as bad as it was.

The reporters like many others before have failed to do their checking on this subject. Much of this video was not the Titan sub. Rather, it was the Cyclops sub, Which is similar, but you can see the sub in this video has the large window, which is not the same size as the smaller 21 inch port window on Titan sub.

@@dylantedlock fatigue. To be more exact. The submersible wasn't rated for those depths . He used two different materials carbon fiber and titanium. It's suppose to be one and that's called carbon steal. Also all the submersibles that Are rated for that depth is round not shaped like an oval. It also wasn't properly tested. Every time you go in an airplane the plane is stressed wings landing gear etc. since it's certified they know approximately how many flights it can withstand before breaking apart. The sub never got certified so they had no idea but otherwise warned him in 2018 and got fired. It wasn't safe ever they got lucky

This is the titan coffin. A submersible that people heard the hull cracking overtime never decommissioned it and brought four people to their death one owner who didn't have time to regret his decision.

Nobody knew that the Titanic bottom is the BAD place to visit?!!! The museum of the found treasures of the pirates and drowned ships in Key West Florida has the smell of the decomposed dead bodies, but the treasure was lifted up in that museum after few CENTURES... look at, the more that three kilometers depth may have no streams and the dead bodies of the half-thousand people smell. Excuse me. That shouldn't be the touristic tour place, it is under water cementery. Also, the naval services are bad too if they did not supported the expedition of that touristic tour. Unfortunately, the submarines never dive down such deep, even militaries. So, this is the tragedy, and - I would better do not call the negative energy spirit from that...

They exploded my man....most likely killed them instantly they found the wrecking of the submersible 13k feet down 1600 ft from the titanic at least they didn't have to go through what the people on the titanic did...most froze to death in the water they weren't so lucky for it be be instant

They didn't find them in time did they?! So sad!! So sad...we put trackers on cars and cell phones...why couldn't they track them that way..I know it's different technology and they have better, the best, so why wasn't there a fail-safe or secondary tracker of some sort??!

As a teenager I visited HMAS PLATYPUS ( correct naming, I'm not sure.) an Australian Navy submarine base ,in Sydney, to visit and go onboard a submarine. I was amazed at the tight quarters the sailors lived in when aboard the sub. A family friend was a navy man and it was an open day for family and friends. I didn't realise it at the time that not many civies get to board an operational Australian Navy submarine. Many,many years later I appreciate the once in a life time experience! GOLD!
