In Defense of Gerome, the man does have a heart of gold and deeply cares for his people, also a good cook and baker. And for Morard in his support with Ramona she fixes his clothes and gives him a little cute thing, dont remember if it was a Lion plushie, Ribbon or stick, but he wears up proudly to Battle for her. In general their supports tend to be wholesome.

As a men, I have to say that Aramis, Gilbert and Sanatio are easily SSS tier

I was very tempted to pick Sanatio because of the overtly homoerotic hot springs rapport scenes (even Melisandre was jealous), but I picked bestie Lex (and he did join in on the hot springs action too, probably just to cockblock Alain and Sanatio). Based on looks and badassery alone I would have chosen Renault (his squad in my playthrough was so OP). I also really loved that bookworm twink Travis. I pretty much agree with your ranking except Adel. Maybe you didn't view enough Adel rapport convos, but he's actually hilarious and quite adorable, and his reaction during the maiden ring ceremony is gold.

Travis was my husband of choice, though I was very torn between him and Sanatio. But in the end, Travis wants to snuggle up with Alain and read in a massive library that they make, and that stole my heart.

I do see how Gloucester’s voice sounds a bit off since he’s got a little bit of a feminine inflection, but I think he more than makes up for it with the raspy, severe grunt to it in his serious lines. The man sounds like he’s been through hell and back and he’s still the royal guard of Aramis AND makes sure the desert is doing okay. He still has compassion for his people, but if you mess with him, he will immediately gut you. The slightly unhinged characters with a heart of gold speak to me

But when it feels like the game abandons its core classes after Drakenhold to focus on the "cooler" classes, they stand out as classic picks to fill your teams. Don't like Adel? Maybe he died on true Zenoiran? Jerome can pull off the role later. Need another cover based tank later in the game? Bryce works
