I sympathize with the large head problems. I didn't know mine was out of the norm until I had to buy a helmet. Large size? Nope. Extra large? Juuust barely and it depended on the brand of helmet as well there. Unfortunately did not translate to intelligence for me. I'm pretty dumb.

The heat is propably a factor, exhausting you after couple of strong games. It can really affect mental focus, I've noticed it personally many times. Living in Finland I can't stand any heat for longer times. I can never fully adapt to it, unlike some people with mediterranean roots.

Would I prefer to watch a human or a machine playing chess? Silly question - humans are much more fun and instructive precisely because they are fallible. I enjoy watching you play, Simon, whatever the outcome.

Yes we all want Simon to win, but he’s playing some of the best players in the world. It’s going to be tough. The heat doesn’t help. Hang in there.

have seen Simon play much better. On some days the Chess gods r unkind and/or just keep making the wrong move. fun to watch Simon play, win or lose!
