@@gentech4025 I'm not exactly sure how many but you have your usual fade in fade out and RGB effect as well. You can make many transitions yourself in shotcut

Oh I can help! You go to the point you want it to stop click s then it splits the clip, then you can delete the text and it’s only on the first clip :)

Great video, explained very well. In my case you just saved me time in evaluating Shotcut (it's not for me). I need to produce videos with really impressive text overlays. Looks like I'll sus out Davinci Resolve or buy Magix MEP (seems to get a good wrap).

Does anybody have a problem with a sound when you split it to add text? I split, add text in different sections, but after I have problems with a sound, it make some weird pauses...and not as it was before.. thank you !

Good point you made. We don't want to spend time learning to edit and making our own thing. We need premade settings for dummies so we can focus on being creative and filming, not on learning pro stuff which can eventually put you off editing.

so in shotcut u can't have 6 sec for example? you text gonna be throw full clip ? I mean if clip is 30 sec, you can't have only 6 sec of text on some klip duration...So if you put text on, text gonna be there all 30 sec?

I got the answer by myself. If the auto saved file doesnt pop up when you open ShotCut the next time (like in the vide) you find them in C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Meltytech\Shotcut\autosave or write %USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Meltytech\Shotcut\autosave and then open it with ShotCut
