excited to hear you guys talk about Copa America - facing Netherlands ahead of it - facing Argentina, Peru and Chile. It's clearly the start of a new chapter for Canada, playing at the highest levels of the international game.

Love the content. It's nice seeing three more introverted people on a podcast. David had a chance a play for US national team. What was it that made him choose Canada when US had a much more established team at the time and Canada was still really struggling at that point.

That was interesting! Good job! I too would like to see you speak with more Canadian Nationals, even if you have to do it by Zoom. I would have liked you to ask more about what Tajon feels that he has to do to become a starter & when he thinks that will happen. It would have also been good if you guys could have discussed your Canadian team mates more & how they are doing on their respective teams, as well as the potential of young Canadians development & which players you think could make the Canadian National team & the potential of any of them to become star players. I know that it's a sensitive topic, but it would be great to hear you guys discuss the changes going on with Soccer Canada & if they hire a new coach, who would you like to see become Canada's coach. Plus, what can we do to improve young players development in Canada? * Your audio is not great. You should get an audio expert in to help you with that.

Awesome pod! Q1: Has Jonathan ever missed a chance at Lille and said Tabernacle or other Quebec swear words, and players wondered what he was talking about? Q2: Way back like the 1980's energy management was a huge part of the game. 10's and 9's would spend most of the game walking. Fast counter attacks from centre didn't really work because by the time you got a chance to shoot your legs were wobbly - I heard it was from lactic acids. How do you train to reduce the wobbly legs? Also, the old style was quite foreign to Canadians, the modern game is becoming more and more like Ice Hockey or Basketball. Do you think that helps Canada's intuition? Maybe that's why Canada fights so much.
