Honestly, I always assumed it would be the other way around. Carlos would be the one who wanted kids and TK would be the one who didn't.

@@jamilesimplicio2163 I think I had switched them because Carlos is so loving, caring, protector, and comes from an (I'm guessing) big family since sisters were mentioned I believe. While TK's parents had a complicated marriage, relationship, and divorce. They have also had other complicated relationships and marriages after each other and then the whole messy reunion thing. I thought after that and how TK himself is a hot mess, that he didn't think he was dad material, nor did he want to be. Interesting that the show flipped them, but I get Carlos's reasoning.

The start of this reminds me of when TK and Carlos came back from the market after running into his parents and Carlos was making light of it, trying to avoid talking about what the problem really was which worked TK up even more...love Carlitos but he does tend to deflect and keep things buried.

I spent over 2 years with someone then we had the conversation, he really wanted kids and I didn't. We broke up literally straight away after having the conversation.

@@emilydickinson5422 it's different when you are gay and two men, when you are heterosexual the conversation comes up straight away in the form of birth control, you think about whether you want babies right from the start. We were just enjoying each others company and also we were long distance for a bit.

We will see if that purse this story line but at the end of the TK really wants it will happen. Carlos does whatever his love wants. Hell even gave him an even bigger lizard. We'll just have to see next season if kids are in the picture.

TK has definitely grown a LOT this season. I was disappointed about Carlos’ marriage to Iris, but I think he told TK when he did cause by that point TK had matured enough to not walk out when things get rough (he did that PLENTY of times). And I feel like because TK has matured so much, Carlos hasn’t felt the need to be Mr. Perfect and so he’s been more expressive about his negative feelings. I guess it’s a common phenomena, when you get familiar enough with someone, you become comfortable enough to not be so perfect.

I bet this issue is going to be a turn point for the next season. Tk wanna be a father whereas Carlos doesn't. They've their own reasons but this issue will pop up for sure.

At this point he is clear that he never wants to have kids. And TK needs to stay with that knowledge. Either can change their minds at any point later on.

I remembered TK previously mentioned he wanted to have kids previously when he was with Owen I guessed he didn't have a proper complete family growing up where his parents aren't around together at the same time often, as Owen was busy when he was a child and as an adult, he hardly get to see his Mum. His parents were divorced and end up didn't get back together. So it's quite natural he wanted to have a complete family of his own. Carlos on the other hand probably depict a typical gay man growing up in a traditional family. The mindset usually will say they don't want kids. But I'm sure it just takes time for him to eventually will have a kid with TK. If Carlos ended up with someone who doesn't want a kid, then they won't have kid. But he is with TK, so that will definitely change (:

It’s weird to me when people like TK are more worried about having kids than being with their partner. Sometimes it’s a make or break in a relationship, but my partner will always be more important to me than the potential of having kids

There's a debate on PBD whether carlos is an ISFP or INFP, judging from here that he's good with kids but doesn't want one, I'm gonna go with ISFP, (tho I'm INTJ, I'm like ISFP sometimes. I don't want kids but I used to teach and the kids all love me and respect me) Same here. responsibility, nah! I will never be ready to handle someone else's life. It's too much, I just want to live my own.

You know what...imo Carlos could have just easily said that he doesnt want kids cause of his own insecurities of being a father, just as he told his mum instead of all these reasons to cover the fact. Makes TK feel crazy. As i said, IMO

Carlos talking about the pet lizard they brought home and let it back into the wilds after 5mins so relatable.it’s me exactly not wanting to be a mom to human but thought I could be to a pet dog.but just after 6days of adopting a dog and bringing him home,today I had to return him,I’m feeling a lot of things right now but I’m giving myself grace and understanding fully that I don’t want to be a mom at all!! not to human/pet not today or tomorrow or future parenting is just not for me!!!

This scene always gives me anxiety as someone that grew up in domestic abuse because *CARLOS ALWAYS LIES ABOUT LIFE-ALTERING THINGS FOR YEARS THEN DEFLECTS WHEN IT'S ADDRESSED!!* 😡 If I was TK, I wouldn't have gotten back with Carlos because he never learns from past mistakes.

Wtf are you on about, domestic abuse is definitely nowhere near Carlitos' centres and to be honest you could say the same thing about TK, why would Carlos constantly keep taking him back after he walked out on him multiple times ?( Isn't that the MO of someone being abused, they take them back again and aģain). I see no abuse in either Carlos' or TK's actions, they are just from two different worlds and learning off each other ( but don't opposites attract?) Just enjoy the ride and please lay off the sauce.😂

Yes Carlos does and did but you see how quickly he told TK what the problem was not like before and maybe TK in the past being flighty effects Carlos, wouldn't you be scared to tell TK big news when he could run away. And TK used to run away from things, whether a meal, a relationship, numbing things out with drugs, changing his profession but now he is sticking to his man and job so go TK. It seems to me both have improved each other and that's all we can ask in a relationship.

You are accusing Carlos of Domestic abuse when the only one in this relationship to physically put their hands on the other which was DOMESTIC ABUSIVE (TK shoving Carlos aggressively 3 times at the fire station before the fire). Why are you blaming this on Carlos? TK didn't tell Carlos he wanted children and Carlos didn't tell TK he doesn't want children, both are equal in their lack of communication not just Carlos. And Carlos never lied, if he had told TK he wanted children to get with him that would have been a lie. THEY BOTH ARE EQUALLY RESPONSIBLE ABOUT MAKING ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT THE OTHER.

@@sabinasabina2010 *Because it is a repeated problem with Carlos* and Carlos even admitted to his mother that he didn't tell TK he didn't want children because HE KNEW TK wouldn't want to start a long-term relationship with him.
