Matthew Tkachuk had another accident in game 6, this time catching Mattias Janmark in the back. Should this have been interference or was it unavoidable? Have your say!

Accidentally on purpose.

Interference on the turtle he can see everything he was trying to anticipate a pass

Chucky is a agitator, get use to it, that's what he does. I know he's a spineless weasel, that's scared of his own shadow, but that's why he's the "Turtle"

Incidental contact, even if that's what Tkachuk wanted, both had established lanes, no penalty

Funny ,same thing happened to oiler ,oiler received 2 min interference call 🤔

Janmark has his back to him and skating slowly (backwards)...Tkachuk is watching the play and the movement...he knew what he was doing encroaching on Janmark and he was ready for making the contact by putting up the crosscheck to the numbers...Janmark goes down from a check from behind and Tkachuk plays innocent...put Tkachuk in a movie or something, he is constantly acting (oh wait I have seen his commercial)

Janmark is the only one of the 2 who makes a huge sudden movement. That would be an egregious weak call, considering Janmark leaps into Tkachuck there.

That's literally a collision with a player skating backwards and a player not looking. This dude is CLEARLY an Edmonton fan. Lmao.

Oh whoops! Panthers style hockey, I had respect for their coach until this series……..starts with the coach and if I had players doing this crap and embellishing so bad I would be straightening that out quick, you don’t ultimately gain much by that style of hockey. Not sure who will be hoisting the cup but between officials waking up to the stunts and oilers playing good hockey I don’t know if Florida can buckle down and play.

Oilers in 7 but Jannmark I do not know what he expect when he skates backwards in Florida zone like ok Mathias this is yours solo lap, what kind of music you would like? You are not Mcjesus wake up kid. I call bs on this call this is contact sport its your bad you bet no one gonna touch you. Tkachuk will not move away but i did not see he wanted to hit harder he just did not move

I'll give this to Turtlechuk that it's not a penalty. Hopefully he can brush up on his skills after the Oilers win the cup on Monday

@@NuclearGroudon Ya, the Oilers decided to not want to play. Kinda strange that they decided to not show up for the last game. Skinner letting in the game winner on a routine save completely demoralized the team. Well, Turtlechuk can enjoy his only cup. Oilers still have 5 🤷♂

Oilers have a good chance at running it back 2025 as long as they make good off season moves

Absolutely turtle interference. Came from behind and accidentally ran into him. He even accidentally raised his stick and hands to brace for the hit.

Just like Bennett did to Marchand. Team full of cheap shot artists & Maurice condones it! The Refs & ‘Player Safety’ are laughable! 😂😂😂

Incidental. Janmark backs up quickly and Tkachuck doesnt have much time to react.

💯 no penalty, 💯 par for the course in Oilers’ last 3 series as well.

Cross check to the back with the puck no where around, and Janmark waiting for a pass. Hmmm. But good act to try and make it look accidental. But not good enough. Janmark had his back to him, Thachuk lined him up.

Everyone get over it this is hockey. Try played in the pond leagues in the 50's and 60's. Todays " hockey players " would: (a) never had survived or (b) been sitting in or on a snowbank crying or waking up from your own brothers check.

I'm probably older than you , but I love it when guys like you talk to twenty year olds and say..."what did we do before cell phones?... THERE WERE THINGS CALLED PAY TELEPHONES, THAT'S WHAT WE DID BEFORE CELLPHONES!!!!"....so in otherwords, who gives a flying fk what happened in the 50s and 60s !!.... this is clearly interference as per the 2024 NHL rule book... and it went on the entire series. And if you don't like how the "namby pamby" players are these days, go watch pro wrestling.

Yet another terrible call and another reason why I stopped rooting for the Oilers. Starting in game 1, running Bobrovsky, the dirty hits, and embellishments made me lose respect for Edmonton. I’m a neutral party (Penguins fan) and truly believe the Hockey Gods will reward the more honest team. I know the Panthers have a reputation for being dirty, but I think that is not accurate at all. I see a team finishing their checks and playing with grit, not a dirty Florida team. Here’s hoping game 7 isn’t filled with penalties and the game gets decided by the players, not millimeter offsides, or the dreaded puck over glass penalty.
@qw2ps45 күн бұрын
I sure do laugh at the Panther fans who are suddenly concerned about "dirty" plays
@mtlnascarfan5 күн бұрын
" the dirty hits, and embellishments "?? Interesting...you just described Florida's playbook to a T. By the way...millimetres or feet...offside is offside. It either is or it isn't. Edmonton is the team playing with grit and determination, Panthers just have to deal with it.

@@qw2ps4 I laugh at those without reading comprehension.

@@mtlnascarfan I wish I were describing the Panthers after they got shelled 8-1. They didn’t pushback or show any grit whatsoever.
