This is so sad. You can see that little girl Saymones face when her Mom criticized her instead of praising and congratulating her. These Moms should be ashamed of themselves.

Taking these girls childhood away from them is just wrong! That’s not loving your kids it’s using them!

The disappointment they drill into those girls is so sad. So sad.

I’m a dancer and I agree with Saymone 100%. The only people who know the routine are the dancer, choreographer, and peers. No one in the audience knows your dance. So if you mess up, they’ll only know if you make it obvious. And she didn’t. I can’t believe her mom said that to her. And she truly is being too hard on her. She’s only a little girl. She can’t do everything perfectly and it’s be wrong to expect that.

It's really not a good look for 2 grown women to be making fun of little girls. Being that bitter is NOT attractive, ladies.

I hate how these parents are pushing their children to be the best, just to make themselves (the parents) feel important.

This should be outlawed. Not because of the children but because of the adults. The kids are just repeating things they've heard their parents say. This is turning them into brats. They'll grow up narcissistic, backstabbing witches.

When my daughter was younger, she did pageants, but we never had her wear make up, just chapstick/gloss and sometimes a little glitter. Never had fake teeth nor fake hair. She never work skimpy outfits and her clothes were bought at thrift shops or hand me downs and believe it or not, choice of songs were Christian songs 😂. She has long, beautiful black hair down to her waist and lost against someone with "best hair" that wore a toupet looking piece cause she had no hair. 😂 she did win some crowns and bands, but she wasn't addicted and we didn't act like these women. She had fun and did it for a few months. When she said she was done, so was I. I listened and didn't force her.

This show is like a train wreck. Horrifying, but you can’t look away. The mothers are disgusting.

The mum with the purple hair was so annoyed that her daughter didn't win, the look on her face says it all. And to make your child feel bad for forgetting there routine, they are human and most importantly CHILDREN.

My Husband and I raised 3 Beautiful Daughters, I'm Irish and My Husband was Hawaiian and Samoan and yes I'm their mom and think they're beautiful but everytime we went out others would ask, Why don't you take them to modeling agencies. NO WAY, I can't stand these mom's, they try to live vicariously through their children. Not only that but why would I want my child to feel that their worth is tied up in the way a handful of people think. Now Our Girls are all Adults with collage degrees and beautiful Families of their own

Competition isn't inherently bad, but teaching them that their worth is in being pretty and performing for others, never being allowed to express actual emotion, all while pursuing mother dearest's elusive love, that's bleak. To me, competition should be "losing isn't the end of the world, and winning isn't something to rub in others' faces", not parents piling on the pressure. The parents consider themselves to win in dressing up and training a pretty little dolly, rather than encouraging their kids in something that they like.
