I always just thought it was so charming that Asian countries cook with chopsticks until I tried it- wow, you have such a finer touch with your food and so much more control over it. It’s a game changer! 🙌🏼

Just bought one of these pans. I won't attempt this Master's heights, but I made a couple with three eggs each and it was surprisingly easy (I used a spatula to turn) and fun. Egg streudel! I'm gonna start adding (finely chopped) omelette fixings to the egg mixture. But even with just with a little soy sauce, sweet vinegar, and S&P they're really good.

Amal Faraj....not sleepy, just hungry. I can smell the roast pork cooking at the Chinese restaurant around the corner. It drives me crazy, every Wednesday night. They cook late, so I can't even order some until tomorrow, but then I will have forgotten and will have coffee and toast in the morning.

This is amazing to watch and to listen to. I felt strangely relaxed from the sounds of the frying pan and making of the tamagoyaki bread here. The finished product also looks quite lovely.

I thought I’d get bored but somehow I didn’t. And now I really want a torta, which is what my grandma called a circular omelette she’d make for us. That’s not what a torta actually is. A torta is a sandwich, but the omelettes were round so she just went ahead and called them that anyway. Yes I highly want a torta with chocolate milk on the side. Love and miss you abuelita. In fairness he did made *six* omelettes, and each one *feeds 5-6 people.* You try making 30-36 omelettes in just over 10 minutes... I think you'll find his method is actually pretty fast...

I tried making one today. The best I could do was four layers with a wooden spatula, and I still had some brown spots and tearing in some places 😭. I didn't even think of throwing the pan to help fold it. What I notice is the chef lightly scrambled the first batch so it has some structure and won't fall apart when rolling it. I'll definitely try it out later.

I'm studying how to make the perfect tamagoyaki. After many years of research and studying I finally now how the make a winner tamagoyaki. But... it's not perfect.. but I will keep trying to perfect it .. and when I do I will finally accomplish all my goals. The ingredients are.. •Eggs (4) •Milk (1 ts) •soya sause (1 ts) •Sugar (1 ts) Directions •Mix like in anime •Mix •More mixing •And more •warm that thing that's outside on top of the oven •put a little bit of oil on your pan (u can use round to but square is best for tamagoyaki) •spread with paper •Pour forth of the mixture (30.3333333325% out of 100% of the mixture) •wait for 25 seconds •Mix it carefully so the egg doesn't burn but not to much . We use to do one at a time in a restaurant I worked in, it was part of our Japanese breakfast we offered. That was hard enough and we had strict instruction around colour and layering. Ours was cut thin and served with slices of grilled thin cut salmon and rice. So tasty.
