Man it’s getting tougher and tougher seeing the re-airs catching up to the time we lost Michael. I know I didn’t know the guy personally… but Jesus I’m just not ready to accept that he’s gone

No one could do contemporary material analysis like Michael. The opening when Matt skipped Chernobyl due to it being 'propagandistic' was a great example. Michael shows how to critisize modern neoliberalism without falling Into the trap of glorifying the problematic sides of the Soviet Union. RIP king. ♥️

The progressives and the left in North America failed so hard during and after the pandemic. We have won a lot of ground on unionization but we really dropped the ball in so many areas. I was so sure that America would get Canadian style health care reforms because of the pandemic, but no. Everything is worse and the profits lost to the pandemic had to be made up on the backs of the workers, now with this huge push to raise prices. We just simply don't have any infastructure at all, no media, no ground activism, the unions are almost neoliberals themselves and we the left wing political class betrayed us. Where the fuck is jagmeet Singh? Why hasn't he delivered a coherent message for North America?
